Fast affiliate ratings from PI Feedback: Fox won this fifth Tuesday of the new season, with its combination of Bones (Viewers: #2, 8.82 million; A18-49: #2, 3.1 rating/ 9 share) and bona fide hit House (Viewers: #1, 17.87 million; A18-49: #1, 7.6/18). Note the # rankings are for the hour. NCIS is generally #1 at 8/7c, with 16-17M viewers, A18-49 in the 3.5-4 range. Sort of OT, but I'm pleasantly surprised with how well NCIS is doing in the ratings.

FYI, yahoo tv now is making full episodes of House available on-line here http://tv.yahoo.com/show/36106/videos/4760128 97 Seconds is the latest one up. Since I have problems making the fox site work, this is nice as I have better luck with it.

FYI, House episodes will also soon be available on the new NBC/Universal hulu site. You can sign up to be on their beta list and then they invite you to join when they've got it ready.

Per the Washington Post, last week's episode of "House" was the fifth highest ranked for the week. The week's top 10 programs, in order, were: ABC's Monday "Dancing With the Stars"; Fox's World Series Game 4; ABC's "Desperate Housewives" and "Grey's Anatomy"; Fox's "House"; ABC's Tuesday "Dancing With the Stars"; CBS's "NCIS"; Fox's World Series Games 2 and 1; CBS's "CSI: Miami."

Fast affiliate ratings from PI Feedback: ABC and Fox shared top honors, as usual, from 9-10 p.m. as follows: Tuesday 9 p.m. Dancing With the Stars (ABC) Viewers: 18.58 million (#1), A18-49: 4.2/10 (#2) House (Fox) Viewers: 17.16 million (#2), A18-49: 7.0/17 (#1) That's down a bit from the season average. But the last couple of years the numbers jump around a bit for the late October/November/December episodes. I guess there are people with actual lives out there...either that or DwtS gets more exciting :)

DWTS does tend to pick up some viewers around the midpoint when things are less predictable wrt who is going to be voted out. My guess is that "House" will gain points when the DVR viewers are counted and DWTS will stay about the same as the overnights.

LurkerAtLarge- 10-31-2007

It's interesting how much better House does than DWTS in the 18-49 bracket. House was the #1 show in that category last week. Add me to those who are pleasantly surprised at how well NCIS is doing ratings-wise this season. Especially considering the show gets little to no hype. A very solid top ten show. Last season it held up pretty well against American Idol too.

*laughs at self* nevermind, found it :hammer:

So based on the new Fox schedule puppetangel posted in the strike thread, it looks like this is the House schedule unless the strike gets resolved: New episodes Tuesday 9p 13 Nov - #407 Ugly 20 Nov - #408 You Don't Want to Know 27 Nov - #409 Games 22 Jan - #410 or a rerun 29 Jan - #411 or a rerun Post Super-bowl episode 3 Feb - #412 or whatever the last finished episode is. Reruns: Fridays 9p, 4 Jan - 15 Feb Mondays 9p, 10 Mar - ? Tuesdays 9p, 4 Dec - 25 Mar when not pre-empted for holiday, sports, or AI

Someone posted on house-boards that her son was an extra in a Christmas-themed episode. That makes me think there should be a new episode in December or else that episode would look out of date.

marykir- 11-07-2007

I haven't seen anything that talks about the schedule for December, so there could very well be an episode then. If so, there'd be at most 1 new episode in January, as there appear to be either 2 or 3 new episodes beyond "Games" - and one of those is the post Super Bowl episode. The way they have House repeats strewn around the schedule, they can probably show every episode at least once. People will be sick of it :)

to21be- 11-08-2007

I pretty sure I saw on futoncritic up until yesterday or the day before that there was a new episode scheduled in December. But now it's not anymore (I guess, so they have more new ones next year). I was wondering what would happen to a Christmas episode, if they had made one (which appears, they have). Would they really push a Christmas episode back till January or even February, because of the strike?
