Fox won this fifth Tuesday of the new season, with its combination of Bones (Viewers: #2, 8.82 million; A18-49: #2, 3.1 rating/ 9 share) and bona fide hit House (Viewers: #1, 17.87 million; A18-49: #1, 7.6/18).Note the # rankings are for the hour. NCIS is generally #1 at 8/7c, with 16-17M viewers, A18-49 in the 3.5-4 range. Sort of OT, but I'm pleasantly surprised with how well NCIS is doing in the ratings.
The week's top 10 programs, in order, were: ABC's Monday "Dancing With the Stars"; Fox's World Series Game 4; ABC's "Desperate Housewives" and "Grey's Anatomy"; Fox's "House"; ABC's Tuesday "Dancing With the Stars"; CBS's "NCIS"; Fox's World Series Games 2 and 1; CBS's "CSI: Miami."
ABC and Fox shared top honors, as usual, from 9-10 p.m. as follows: Tuesday 9 p.m. Dancing With the Stars (ABC) Viewers: 18.58 million (#1), A18-49: 4.2/10 (#2) House (Fox) Viewers: 17.16 million (#2), A18-49: 7.0/17 (#1)That's down a bit from the season average. But the last couple of years the numbers jump around a bit for the late October/November/December episodes. I guess there are people with actual lives out there...either that or DwtS gets more exciting :)
FYI, House episodes will also soon be available on the new NBC/Universal hulu site. You can sign up to be on their beta list and then they invite you to join when they've got it ready.GRR- Only if you are in the US that is :(
