I'm happy with 9. But I thought the Tuesday at 9 was best. But why quibble? We have Hugh Laurie on our tvs. That is still awesome to me. :-)

I'm still used to thinking at 7:45, "House is on soon!" and then realizing it's at 9. I'm hoping they can explore more adult themes. On the one hand, it's past my bedtime. On the other hand, my husband gets to watch it with me, which is fun.

Wow, this week the ratings were 6.55. Is it me, or is the show on a toboggan?

It was Halloween last night. A lot shows took a hit in ratings. It wasn't just House.

I have to admit that I was surprised to see that there was a new episode on yesterday considering the time slot coinciding with trick-and-treating in most places.

In NYC trick-or-treating ends early because of safety concerns. Esp. around places like my neighborhood. That's the sad truth.

In some time zones, Central, for example, TV shows that are on at 9pm Eastern are on at 8pm. Additionally, Halloween has become one of the biggest party days of the year for adults. Many were at costume parties rather than home watching TV.

Taking my answer to a different thread because it's not about ratings.

I'm curious about the Canadian ratings of House MD on the Global TV network. Does somebody have informations about this topic? Especially regarding season 8.

DVR ratings for the Halloween episode of House fromTV by the Numbers House's ratings was up 64% with DVR.
