I actually like Dancing With the Stars.

fffaw- 03-10-2009

I don't watch DWTS, but I'm an unrepentant fan of America's Next Top Model and So You Think You Can Dance. Sometimes you just gotta relax and kick back for pure entertainment, folks... (catfights, badly themed fashion shoots, pasa dobles and jazz hands)...it makes life worth living. ::stands in solidarity with Geege::

Poeia- 03-10-2009

The few times I saw it, I liked it too. I don't find it compelling enough to remember it's on but it's one of the few reality shows I potentially enjoy.

vitawash99- 03-10-2009

I actually like Dancing With the Stars. Me, too! I prefer to watch it later in the season after some of the really bad dancers have been filtered out, though.

Boffle- 03-10-2009

There isn't enough whiskey in all Scotland or a big enough waterboard to get me to watch DWTS. But since y'all seem to like it, I will harsh your mellow no further. ;-)

All that reality or pseudo reality crap should just air on Oxygen or something ... Good TV died when reality tv was discovered

vitawash99- 03-13-2009

According to FOX Flash, Ep. 5.19 has been moved to March 30, and a rerun of Joy will air in its place.

sdemar- 03-13-2009

If there is a re-run, I can handle "Joy". Who chooses which re-run will play. If it is TPTB, I wonder if it is done intentionally? Is this the only interruption until the end?

m_supercomputer- 03-13-2009

No, there'll be two other weeks with no new episodes, probably - the end of May sweeps is apparently May 20th, so the season finale will likely air that week. It's weird that they're delaying a new episode for a rerun - this odd March sweeps lasts March 5-April 1, so this will still be within that range.

wintertide- 03-13-2009

But I don't get why after a month of promoting the the next few episodes, especially 19 and 20, they would suddenly change the schedule to push 19 and 20 back. I wonder if could have been TPTB or its just a Fox decision.

Namaste- 03-14-2009

Maybe they had some visual effects they felt they needed time to tweak? Is it bad that I'm thinking that it's an OK thing since I'm out of town on business on 3/23 and was trying to figure out how to avoid a biz dinner so I could watch, and this removes that conflict?

deelaundry- 03-14-2009

:D Sounds like an excellent reason to think it's OK. :D

Is it bad that I'm thinking that it's an OK thing since I'm out of town on business on 3/23 and was trying to figure out how to avoid a biz dinner so I could watch, and this removes that conflict? Are you sure you didn't call them and ask them to do you a favor?

extra_cat- 03-14-2009

The few times I saw it, I liked it too. I don't find it compelling enough to remember it's on but it's one of the few reality shows I potentially enjoy. I'd take DWTS over 13 any day. Last year, I found myself flipping over to DWTS whenever she popped up on my screen. It's probably a good thing for me that the show is not a new epi on the 23rd. It's my mom's birthday, so I should do something nice for her.

Are you sure you didn't call them and ask them to do you a favor? I certainly did :). My daughter and her fiance will be in town (and his parents). First time we're all meeting, so I was trying to figure out how to watch, be a good parent (and parent in law) and deal with being a hostess (which is something i hate being)
