To settle your minds-I work in a hospital. I'm an office drone for the end of life care team. Very depressing. Hence the need for as much internet distraction as possible.

RSH, I'm with you. I need lots and lots of internet distraction myself as well. And a chat-room could be fun.

I did wonder about the chat room. The thing is, it'll cost money, so I need to know that it'll actually be used before I can think about getting something together. I can't actually find out any details right now, because my admin panel has gone slightly screwy :roll: But if people really want it, I'm sure we'll be able to work something out.

Just wantede to chime in. I'm not really a chat room person because I like to think about and rewrite my posts: need to chew on the ideas to come up with anything of interest. So spending the extra $ on a chat room wouldn't be useful for me and I do wonder about Silja's comment about spreading the posts too widely...

HHOW is so conducive to bitterness and I'm not sure why. Why is the atmosphere in here so negative all the time? I think I like an episode until I come here. But before I get a bunch of posters asking me why I choose to come here if I feel that way, let me tell the truth: because I find all of the analysis logical, intelligent, or even when it's neither, interesting. So I have a couple of questions for people who care to answer them: -Who has actually seen Michael Michelle in anything else before? If you honestly have, what did you think of her in the OTHER show or movie, and did that impact your liking of her this episode? Because I had never seen/heard of her before, and although I didn't like the sex stuff between her character and House, I thought she did a fine, believable acting job. -What SPECIFICALLY are people missing from the first three seasons? I mean, I know a lot of people have mentioned the lack of Chase. What about Chase? His dynamic with House, his hair? I'm curious. Can someone please explain to me why my post that answered the questions above that were posted on page six of the episode discussion were edited out on page nine when other answers were left alone? Other posters also quoted and used above questions a a jump point for their discussions yet they were unedited. This seems pretty random. Is there a page limit whereby you can't comment on a topic?

I'm flattered by the shout-out, Taiga, but I am just a lowly RN. Really it is Silja that has the answers. :) But I like the idea. Often medical Q & A gets lost amongst other stuff at the QA thread.

I realise this is an issue with the forum software and not an issue which HHOW mods can fix, but I wanted to register my profound discomfort somewhere that some of the ads I have been getting on the top of my screen have been obviously generated not by words in the forum but words in my password which I use to log in. It just doesn't seem right!

I'm at home sick and have time to pester you, our lovely mods. 1) Can we change the name of the personal canon thread I created from "It's A Metaphor, Get Used To It" to "Do Your Research, People"? I never liked the original title but it was the best unused quote I could come up with. "Do Your Research, People" is much better, IMHO. 2) I'd like to create a poll asking people if they would be tested if they were in Thirteen's position. Is that too off-topic? I'm having a bit of a problem with the server here in Bermuda. When I leave the site, all of the posts are marked as being read. Any ideas? I'm using Firefox. Like I said, Bermuda.
