The unicycle is also visible in Now What? in the scene where Cuddy is sitting on House's bed getting redressed after their sweaty sex -- don't know about in previous seasons, though -- more research required!

Ok, add me to those membership lists. Wasn't the red cane the one that House left hanging at the Trenton building collapse? I seem to remember a poignant shot of it just before House got into the ambulance with Hannah. And yes, he could've had a back-up or gotten another one, but it's still . . . odd.

Those days, guessing is more fun than watching, to me. I even tweeted GY about the unicycle, not that he's been helpful, but at least I did not dream it.
Barbara Barnett thinks it is one of those antiques House loves to collect. It could be. It also matches the whole "circus" theme of the season. How did I miss it in Now What? I guess in both eps, we are supposed to be mesmerized by Cuddy.
The cane he left at the Trenton site was a plain wood cane, not the red one.
The cane he has now isn't a "red" red one on my TV. Just a wooden cane that has a dark red stain, and only shows as "red" in bright light or against a white background. Kind of like an expensive cherry wood cabinet.
I think that the watch he's wearing in the promo is the one from Season 2 (the vintage one)

Hi, the bedside table on the right-hand side of the bed has two old-school/antique medical bottles -- one is clear glass and the other is green glass. Also a lamp with a creamy coloured square shade (in one picture it's a dark red shade), sometimes some books, and what appears to be a tiny gunmetal grey digital bedside clock.
