Drive-by love for Cuddy's fluffy coat. She's wearing it when she has to show up in the middle of the night and Foreman has a coffee for her, which, according to him, makes him better than House. No idea which ep that is. I think she's also wearing it in ODOR. Same love for House's black coat (SOACG and others). I almost bought one like that, but it was the kind of fabric that magically attracts every speck of dust, every hair, and you'll never ever get it off, so I didn't. And bought shoes instead, because I'm a girl.

By the way, have we actually seen the motorcycle since Tritter? I assume he's ridden it, because we've seen him wearing the motorcycle jacket (which he wasn't wearing when we've seen him driving the car or in last night's episode, when it was raining at the end of the episode and he was wearing a different coat). But has the bike actually been seen?

bottleships- 10-24-2007

Not seen, but it was mentioned in the Pee Episode, when House demanded Wilson's car keys because he didn't want to ride the bike with a full bladder.

I'm bringing this props question over from the SD thread. Does anyone know what is on Wilson's screen in a Fetal Position scene with Cuddy?

By since Tritter, do you mean since the episode where Tritter pulled House over; or do you mean the whole Tritter arc. We saw the motorcycle briefly in Wack-a-Mole, when Wilson is waiting for the bus and House drives by. I think that's the last time we saw it. On another topic, was it just me or did anyone else notice that House was wearing combat boots during the last episode?

idonmatrix- 10-25-2007

Combat boots in Guardian Angles? Didn't see that. Which scene?

Blck Squrrl- 10-25-2007

Combat boots noticed during Cameron 'no whip' scene, and Wilson's one scene. If anyone has screen caps of these scenes, they'd be greatly appreciated

Not so much combat boots as old black leather shoes. Quite banged up. Cap 1, Cap 2 It's a first for House either way. Never seen him without sneakers of some sort. That thing with the 100 $ bill is really odd! I wouldn't have caught it since I had no idea what one looks like before marykir pointed it out. Is there some kind of rule in place that on set they are not allowed to use real money or even money that could be taken for real?

Blck Squrrl- 10-25-2007

They look like combat boots to me. Something about the way the shoes leather hugs his ankles convinces me.

Never seen him without sneakers of some sort. Actually, I'm pretty sure he was wearing dress shoes when he gave the speech during "Role Model," though I can't find any screencaps. (I remember because I was wondering if he'd be wearing sneakers.)

They look like combat boots to me. Something about the way the shoes leather hugs his ankles convinces me. The caps aren't that good, I know. When the picture moves it's more visible that they are not boots. But of course I might be wrong. It's just how I see it. ETA: another cap. In this pic it looks like they might be ankle high. Like the ones Hugh prefers. Actually, I'm pretty sure he was wearing dress shoes when he gave the speech during "Role Model," I believe you without caps. :) I haven't watched season 1 in a while. Didn't start obsessing about clothes and sets until later. One more reason to go back and watch them all again. :balloon: ETA: About that 100$ bill. Could it be that they filmed House with an obviously fake bill, because he was supposed to be holding an obviously fake bill? Maybe it was part of the plot and they changed it after the scene had been shot, because they either had to cut an accompanying scene or because they later decided that it wasn't funny, or because they wanted to make the bet more real and not confuse viewers into thinking that House didn't mean it and didn't give Cameron real money in the end? I think I'm over-thinking and not doing a very good job of writing it down.

Is there some kind of rule in place that on set they are not allowed to use real money or even money that could be taken for real? I know that used to be the case, I'm not sure if that has changed or not. Trying to google up an answer but not having much luck.

Taiga- 10-25-2007

Why would that be?

greeblygreebly- 10-25-2007

Found it! It's against the law to photogragh money. Printed reproductions, including photographs of paper currency, checks, bonds, postage stamps, revenue stamps, and securities of the United States and foreign governments (except under the conditions previously listed) are violations of Title 18, Section 474 of the United States Code. Violations are punishable by fines of up to $5,000, or 15 years imprisonment, or both. http://www.moneyfactory.gov/document.cfm/18/103 I'm sure that law is intended to keep people from reproducing money via photograghy but as you can see it's not that specific hence fake money on TV and in movies. (Note- this is just always what I've heard and the law seems to back that up but I'm by no means an expert on law.)
