but no little greg?

blacktop- 09-27-2007

Yes, that is indeed the cane I was referring to and I share the bafflement as to the automatic word substitution -- if we can't have the real technical word (this is a discussion group about a medical show, heh!) then "little greg" would make more sense to me.

The official fox site has a link to OmniPeace, where you can get the shirt House was wearing in 401 "Alone". They even have a screencap of the episode up (among a ton of other pics of celebs wearing variations of the shirt).

Last time I looked, the OmniPeace site store didn't have the grey men's t-shirt. You can find it at shopkitson.com though in a couple sizes. And if anyone wants a brand new size large (~ 40" chest before washing) with a small blue blotch on the left sleeve, I have an extra as I accidentally ordered 2. I ordered them 2 months apart, but that's another story :) PM me for more info or to make an offer if you're interested. (SRP $65)

Last time I looked, the OmniPeace site store didn't have the grey men's t-shirt. Huh! You are as always quite right. My brain only takes in information exclusively in picture form. I saw the the grey shirt and didn't realize it said "T-Shirts for kids" above it. Thanks for the other link!

From the way they fit her, I can only assume they get Cuddy's wardrobe from some sort of child's doll shop. :-) In Switzerland :(

The official fox site has a link to OmniPeace, where you can get the shirt House was wearing in 401 "Alone". They even have a screencap of the episode up (among a ton of other pics of celebs wearing variations of the shirt). Confession: I knew that shirt was for a v. good charity. But. I still thought House was going to say something snarky about giving Africa bunny ears. Especially after TB or Not TB. ETA: Hi jo! My ongoing theories on Cuddy's wardrobe are: •she purchased them online while she was wasting away to 2-3 sizes smaller than she is now. She's since recovered, but never went shopping again. •her tailor is trying to slowly smother her to death. Very slowly. •House was right about her being into bondage. Sartorial bondage. I am thisclose to making an icon with those words and the right screencap. I think the white suit at the beginning of alone would do nicely. •swiss doll dressmaker shop. Makes as good as sense as any.

That white dress in Alone looked like it was smushing the funbags in such a painful way. Free the fund raising funbags!

I've seen that grey African Continent w/ Peace Fingers t-shirt around for a long time. I've always admired it. And, I didn't know there was a story behind it. I looked on the home site for the charity and...well, their stock is not exactly brilliant. So, I went to Kitson's. Okay, now. I understand half of the cost goes to the charity but I'll have to have had an awful lot of Absinthe (tm, Sheep) before I'll shell out $65 for a bloomin' t-shirt! (And, my pretties, that's before S/H!) Whoa Nelly!

To switch gears a bit--am I the only one who admired Wilson's use of bandaids to tape his ransom note to the wall? Charming!

DIY Sheep- 10-04-2007

Wilson is the master of band aid improvisation. Does anyone know what the little numbers on the 'for a good cause shirt' were about - down by his hip on the left hand side. And I loved Lisa's little blue number - sexy, non-vesty and not bought from Switzerland. A win win all around.

Does anyone know what the little numbers on the 'for a good cause shirt' were about - down by his hip on the left hand side. OmniPeace's objective is to end extreme poverty by 2025. That's the number down at the bottom of the shirt.

I guess this counts as a prop question... In one of the promos for "Guardian Angels" they showed House snapping a $100 bill open for someone to look at, complete with snapping sound. Except the bill didn't look like any $100 bill I've ever seen. The portrait didn't even look like Benjamin Franklin. (promo screencap) But in the episode last night, the $100 looks like a real $100. Hugh looks identical, down to the individual flyaway hairs. (episode screencap) So it seems like at least one take (assuming Hugh managed to look exactly the same in two different takes), they used a fake bill. Why bother? It has to be cheaper to get a real $100 instead of digitally altering the shot. Doesn't it? Maybe there's a really really new $100 design I haven't seen yet...

RNwannabe- 10-24-2007

I noticed that in the promo, too, and was a little surprised when the bill appeared real in the actual ep. Until now, I thought the promo shot must have been an earlier take, but you are right. Not a hair out of place (at least not in different places  ) Does anyone have an answer for this? I am intrigued.

Poeia- 10-24-2007

How bizarre. Why on earth would they do that? Were they afraid that people would be screencapping the promo and making counterfeits?
