To add, we know from other press that the s4 stuff was something that was discussed with the cast before the end of last season & JS has been the one kid who has been pretty vocally excited about what Chase is up to next. That said, I suspect there's some grain of truth to them getting overwhelmed with the whole planning a wedding thing & putting the brakes on as a result - & its a sensible thing to do under the circumstances. As for JMo in Chicago, maybe? spoilery -> I thought Cameron wasn't in the first two eps. end spoiler.

On a totally random note, I finally broke down and rented Swimming Upstream. I generally avoid the whole domestic abuse/violence genre of films since they tend to be crappy and lived-it-don't-need-to-watch-bad-movies-on-the-subject, but this was very well done: franc without being overly dramatic. On a totally shallow note...umm..baby got some seriously nice back. :wink:

Is Chase growing a beard or adopting Housian stubble? They must be in the middle of shooting... (I'm relatively spoiler-free, so don't answer that if you know from spoilers.) Anyway, I don't particularly like the pictures. He looks a lot like Matthew McConaughey (and that's not a compliment.)

Gosh I just don't see much of a resemblance to "Sexiest Whatever" Mr. McC. Yeah, the pictures are taken at the beach where Mr. McSexy always seems to be photographed for his People spreads, but where's the shit-eating smile, flaunting of the pecs or the giant sized ego? I was so impressed with how JS pulled off that scene where he showed his dad the medal, because he managed to show proud, nervous, and scared all at once. It was like I was seeing one emotion in the eyes and posture and hearing another in the voice- yet it was never overly dramatic or hammy. I'd venture a guess that part of the reason TPTB had a tough time casting Chase is because it's a role that demands sublety nearly all the time, but a lot of actors tend to go for the "over wrought" when given the chance.

JS did an interview this week with a couple of Aussie DJs who are on a trip to LA for their radioshow. You can download the show plus a pic at this link on the radiostations website. Jesse is adorable in the interview, but it's a very depressing interview, since it just confirms my worst fears. Chase won't be but a blip, if that, on the show for probably the first half of the season. Hence, I'm not even going to bother watching when the season starts. No point in it. Won't be nothing for me, as a Chaser, to see.
