A HOUSE Q&A WITH DORIS EGAN
FANS FOR THE WGA If the strike has taught us anything, it's that the conglomerates don't have a ton of fans. But the WGA members do. And boy, do those fans have questions. Questions about the strike, the rumors, and even the spoilers. Doris Egan -- "House vs. God", "Son of a Coma Guy", "Housetraining" -- has graciously agreed to do a Q&A with the fans. How It Works: 1. Fans will have until Tuesday, January 29, 2008 to submit questions. 2. The moderators will send the questions to Ms. Egan, who has a week to answer. 3. When she's finished, she will send it back, and we will we post them. Eligible Questions: Anything goes (aside from the few no-nos in the fine print). Fans may ask questions about the strike, about the industry, about the writing process, or about the show and its characters. Fans may even ask for thoughts on the presidential election, or the Atlanta Falcons head coach opening, or the most under-appreciated film of the 1940s. Here's the fine print: The moderators reserve the right to omit questions we find offensive or inappropriate. We define those terms as (1) possible invasion of writers' privacy, (2) angry rants about writers' work, and (3) use of four-letter Anglo-Saxons words. Furthermore, Ms. Egan reserve the right to not answer every question. We should also note that the strike rules condone writers' discussing future plans for their work -- because that technically constitutes 'working' on the show. Therefore, Ms. Egan will more likely answer retrospective House-related questions and not 'what will happen in the future'. Thank you in advance for your questions. After all, healthy dialogue is the building block of all good relationships. (Take note, Mr. Counter.) Send Your Questions To: askthewriters@unitedfandom.com The e-mail subject should state the writers' name. Please include your first name. E.g: What's the best way for me to get involved in helping out the strike efforts? - Jane
