Poor House. He looked so broken when Foreman opened up the ambulance door.
I'm seriously claustrophobic so the scenes in the rubble were incredibly hard for me to watch. When House first crawled in there, I had to watch through my hands.
Yeah, things were chugging along well for me and then that last scene. Didn't much like that to be honest. I thought it was too pat of an ending to an amazing episode.

Bravo!!!!
What a great finale!
I loved every minute of it.
I was holding my breath there at the end. I didn't know what was going to happen. Thank God Cuddy came. He didn't need to be alone, and he needed to know he was loved.
I loved all of House's interactions and conversations with Hannah. The look on House's face when she died :(
I loved Foreman going after him.

Like I said on twitter---that wasn't an episode of House. That was an Alan Alda directed episode of MASH that somehow managed to devolve into a Friday afternoon ep of General Hospital.
Hugh was kickass, throughout, but I am just not sure how that was supposed to be a season ender. It was L-A-M-E.
Sorry.
No.

The only thing that sucked for me about the finale? Knowing that the fandom is going to be hell for the next three months.
I don't think House argued for that leg to be saved because of Cuddy. I think he argued for it because he honestly wanted her leg to be saved. However, her little "you're alone" speech certainly snapped him out of it, as we saw.
I'm glad Cuddy finally freaking said she loved him. We all know she did. And now, we're all going to watch this relationship go down in flames by, say, November at the latest.

Wow, that was amazing.
I liked the end. I know it's going to make a lot of people unhappy in this fandom. I'm not a shipper... but to me, if it ended as depressing as last season I wouldn't have liked it.
I totally miss House and Cuddy banter and I don't think they'll last but I think it'll be fun.
I seriously was heartbroken with him walking in the hospital with Foreman chasing him. I was shaking. WOW. And then the ending just made me like, huh! YES!

This. All of it.

The only thing I felt rang false was that when House showed her he hadn't taken the Vicodin, he then put his arm all the way to the side before dropping them so there would be no way to miss it. It would have felt real-er to me if they had just slipped from his fingers.
Whenever House suddenly lets loose and shouts, like "That's the whole point" I find it shattering. Those are the times I realize how big he is and how he could command most situations just by being the most physically "there" person there. And he does want to be in command of all situations but by being the smartest or the funniest or the nastiest. He saves the physical for a last resort.
And I'll probably have more to say when I stop crying and blowing my nose.
ETA: I had hoped that they would finally tell us whether it was really Cuddy in the Three Stories flashbacks who told Stacy about doing a myectomy.

Oh me too. He looked so broken when he leaned against the desk. It was like he was about to break down. I liked that Foreman cared and knew he shouldn't be alone.

I agree with RSH when she said "L-A-M-E." That ending was like really bad fan fiction. There's poor House all desperate and in pain and about to descend into the darkness of addiction once again when Cuddy swoops in and saves him with her love. And, what, all that pain just disappeared?
And I'm really going to lose sleep over the summer wondering about poor 13 and her "time off." There's a nail-biter for you, folks.

Imagine how I feel. Sigh.

Well, let them give it the old college try and be done with then. At least, she admitted her feelings.
I thought Hugh was absolutely AMAZING and heartbreaking in this episode.
I just really, really, really wished that the finale hadn't ended on a shippy note. It may be selfish of me, but I can't bear the thought of the bitching that's going to happen and I just really wanted this to be all about House.
But overall? Incredible, incredible episode.

Meh. My least favorite season finale to date, I believe. It had some nice moments, although I thought that House's bonding with the trapped woman was a bit heavy-handed, but the last scene just... didn't work for me.
Honestly, I've missed the darker, more serious version of House that we used to see more of in seasons past. The episode leading into this one was amazing; I had hoped that the finale might continue in that vein, with House struggling to accept that the people around him are happy, but he is not, despite his sincere efforts to change. Which it did, I suppose, but Cuddy's miraculous appearance at the end (and declaration of love, etc.) seemed a bit too easy.
And so we begin next season with House/Cuddy, it seems. *shrug* We'll see what happens, I guess, but color me vaguely unimpressed so far.

That envelope 13 left on his desk looked more like a greeting card than a letter of resignation/request for time off. I'd speculate more if I cared. But right now, I feel as if that crane had been dropped on me. More later, maybe.

I have no problem with the ending, and certainly not any problem with the way the story was told. (I have a feeling I'll have a problem with fandom.)
I'm not a shipper of anyone, I have no horse in any race.
To a certain extent, I feel like they've been moving toward the point of House sitting there broken, with his pills in one hand and what remains of his salvation shattered around him. To have just left it at that point, to me, would have been a cop out. I'd prefer that they actually give the story that they've been telling -- or this chapter of it, as it were -- an ending. I don't see what they chose to do as a "love conquers all" type of ending. This is still a House who calls himself the most screwed up person alive. This won't be a smooth or pretty ride.
I think it goes back to what HL has said many times -- that if you leave a guy on the ledge for too long, you become bored with the idea of whether he jumps or not. To leave House continually in the same position would make him a static character. Opening the door for more stories with this character is a good thing.
And I still hate Entertainment Weekly for spoiling it (all but the last scene).
In other news ... moving forward with Thirteen's issues will be interesting (and love that it was Taub who was with her for those moments), also considering the contrasting news that she and House are getting -- he's finally, for the first time, moving forward while she'll be left behind.
I can see why they used that new camera for the episode. Wow. Amazing stuff and in those small spaces and with that minimal light. Great look.

After all House has been through, addiction, Mayfield, all the changes he made this year I was glad to see it pay off with what he wanted. Whether or not I wanted it, it was obvious the writers wanted us to believe Cuddy is what he wanted.
I'm happy for him. I'm also happy that, and I'm speculating, it won't last, but it will kind of reset their relationship and Lucas is gone. I really did miss the House/Cuddy banter this year. That sexual tension.
It's ashame the end has to be tainted by fandom and its reaction.
