NO, TAUB, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so bummed that he went off with Maya.
Hey, Namaste, House said your name, no matter what the context. :-) (and the context was hilarious)
Some funny lines:
"Stravinsky never groped my wife in a midtown hotel room."
"Mazel Tov?"

I squeed at the Namaste reference tonight. So awesome.
So pissed at Taub, but now I definitely understand what Sara Hess meant when she tweeted about forming the Jenny Foley fan club. Rachel Taub has my heart. Lil Taub? Not so much tonight. Bad, bad lie.
Enjoyed the return of the whiteboard. Stay for a while, my friend, and be re-introduced to your friend House while you're at it.
Loved Foreman's "Mazel Tov?"

Taub looked so resigned, I think he was pretty bummed he was doing what he was about to do.
This episode was genuinely good on so many levels. It entertained me consistently, and the commercials breaks didn't make me want to scream and throw stuff.

Hmm, it would have been nice if we had learned something about House in this episode... Instead he was just a marginal figure :(

Taub's a sleazey jerk. Rachel should deball the bastard. 13 continues to annoy me. Tonight she was playing House Whisperer because, as we all know, she's special and she understands House. That's why House needs her. I liked Chase when he tried to direct focus back to the case rather than Taub's sex life. It was funny (though predictable) that House was the one doing all the things that annoyed Wilson.
Namaste- 04-26-2010
I know that House's deal is that no one changes, but does he have to be proved right by Taub? (When he really wants to be right about Sam and Wilson?)
I'm sure that the Namaste reference meant nothing, but it was fun.

Taub's a neat character when he just gets to be snarky in the background, but focus on him and his marriage woes is the cure for insomnia. I think I'd actually rather watch focus on Foreman.

Well, I want to beat up Taub. Rachel deserves better than his dumb butt.
I hated that she apologized and crying to him because she couldn't go through with the open marriage. She should be insulted that he would suggest such a thing. Dump his butt, Rachel.
I felt sad for House at the end. He looked so sad. Just one look of Hugh's, and I was ready to hug House. I wish he could find someone. Someone who appreciates him and gets his sense of humor. Wilson has someone. Cuddy has someone. I think it does bother House. He is feeling lonely and left out.
I loved the House/Cuddy scene in her office.

Decent episode tonight. Taub sucks, and so do plots centering on him. Patient story was ok, but I couldn't keep up cause I was on the phone and stuff Wilson story was good, though left me feeling bad for House. Hoping that next episode indeed gives us some progress on House and Cuddy. The description makes it seem so.

So, I'm the only one who's going to say that I'm relieved Taub decided to cheat? If he hadn't gone with Maya then, it would've been someone else later. Why should he drag out his deception (of Rachel & himself) any longer than he has to? It would've been dishonest for him to do anything else.
Namaste- 04-26-2010
Second reference to "ten years ago" from Wilson and Sam. I'm going to go with Poeia's previous suggestion that they briefly reconnected after Bonnie and before Julie.
Jane Doe- 04-26-2010
I... feel for poor Taub whose wife won't let him cheat? Whatever...

I know, right? The writers of this show seem to write women as weaklings. If my husband suggested an open marriage, I'd show him an open door. Rachel doesn't owe him an apology just because she'd like for him to keep the vows he made to her. She can do better.
Poeia- 04-26-2010
Wilson/Sam - they didn't live together in Princeton so how did she know about Mickey's diner?
Does House realize that he's trying to break them for his own sake or does he really believe his only motive is saving Wilson from a heartless bitch?
That's the 2nd episode in a very short time where someone had no sense of privacy -- blog girl was like that, too.
I don't think Taub minded breaking the date when Rachel said she couldn't go through with it. A lot of the appeal for him is the fact that it's illicit. Having permission isn't the same thing. (And I want to smack Taub.)
Loved the DDXs with everyone throwing out their ideas on auto-pilot while discussing Taub's life. (And Chase has nice handwriting. Glad to see he's finally ready to write on the white board.)
Right before the episode, the announcer said something about "too much truth" and I immediately thought "The Social Contract was last year."

Funny, I think I'm giving up on that because they talked about the divorce papers. Working it out now for the time line thread now.
