"Pastime with good company" House sings when he's making dinner rings Monty Python-ish to me. Original version feels like Holy Grail soundtrack.
I wonder one more time if Hugh chooses what he sings.
I thought Chase was eating a wrap, with some shredded lettuce sticking out.
I'd always (for no reason) assumed that it said in the script that House sings at a particular time and then Hugh chooses what and how he sings. (can't imagine that anyone but him would have chosen the Gilbert & Sulllivan in Broken).

I think Katie Jacobs or someone behind the scenes said that singing that song was Hugh's idea.
So, I also think that he picks the songs House sings on the show.
That makes sense, between his innate musicality and vast knowledge. He would know what would fit each situation.

He also knows what he can and cannot play. Doesn't make sense to write and insist that House plays a piece of Beethoven that HL cannot play.
