Oh, it's so good to have the show back! However, the 80 billion gazillion commercials were really frakking annoying! Totally took me out of the story. Totally depressing end to the PotW story. Wilson singing show tunes made very happy.

Chipmunk_love- 01-11-2010

James Wilson is made of epic win. I mean, a marriage proposal and one of my favorite show tunes? Nothing short of legendary. I really liked the patient's story, and I was completely drawn in by it. Very good episode.

No one is cooler than Wilson. He is Dr Epic Adorable but Too Cute Town. I love him. The PoTW was interesting and I actually cared what happened to him, so that was nice. Well, not the way it ended, but in the sense that it was a good story.

OldHamster- 01-11-2010

Loved loved loved the way they ended it with "You know you'll never be lonely with you know who." Damn straight! (So to speak.) Was the PotW's friend a cop, too? I wasn't quite clear on that.

They're up to 7 acts these days. Check on Hulu -- you can see where the breaks are. Wilson proposing was the best thing ever. He totally pwned House at that moment. Loved him singing "One" as well. The look of confusion on Kate's face (I forget her character's name) when House made the connection and walked out was priceless. I loved when House opened the poster in the lobby. Later he overdid the gay mannerisms a bit, but the way he slid into it at that moment was perfect and perfectly understated. Foreman is the team leader? Foreman? Chase is the better diagnostician (and he's been at PPTH the longest.) Taub has more leadership skills and experience. A block of wood (aka Thirteen) has more people skills. The POTW was sad. I'm not sure why he wouldn't give them any info considering that they figured out that he was a cop and still didn't rat him out you'd think they could be trusted with some stuff.

You'd think they would just move in their old furniture, but maybe they wanted to make a whole new start of it. (In old New York ... wait. Sorry. That's a show tune from a whole different show. Hee.) And Foreman's right. Who's your Daddy indeed.

Oh, it's so good to have the show back! However, the 80 billion gazillion commercials were really frakking annoying! I concur. This is the first time in a while that I've watched House on an actual television. I thought I was going to loose my mind because of all the commercial breaks. I missed that first fifteen minutes of the show, but I still enjoyed it. I found the patient really memorable and affecting in this episode. And I almost scream "Hey! It's that guy! The creepy dude from the X-files. Not the one who sucked fat out of people but the other really freaky dude!" I wish we could have scene more of House in this episode though. And between tonight and the previews for next week (which I won't discuss in this thread), I'm getting Law & Order: PPTH vibe.

Manicman- 01-11-2010

House seems to be regaining his stride with being an asshole. This episode contained screwing with Wilson, making fun of Chase's ongoing crisis, and the words "touch your boobs." He is as hilarious as always, but I'm not sure this reflects him doing well on his recovery process. SPOILER: And I am really looking forward to the psychopath patient next episode, that should be awesome. Although it's kinda unrealistic, psychopaths don't creep you out. They are extremely good at not appearing to be psychopaths. MOD NOTE: Info from previews is considered spoiler territory. Different previews air in the US and Canada.

Wilson is made of pure awesome. That marriage proposal was brilliant. I laughed. And when Nora left, the way he took the glass of wine. House so got pwned. And I loved it. And the singing. Oh, Wilson. The POTW was surprisingly interesting. Is it wrong that I felt sorry for Eddie? I know, drug dealer, but still, I fetl for him. I enjoyed Sasha Alexander too. I wasn't sure I would since I didn't like her on NCIS, but Nore was sweet, if a little dense. 13 is pretty cool when she's not with Foreman or talking about Huntington's. And Foreman managed an entertaining line when the other three realized he had been messing with them. Little Cuddy, no PI, and no Huddy. Good times. Such good times.

fffaw- 01-11-2010

I found myself feeling bad for Eddie even though I know he was a bad guy. He was a good friend and talked about his kid. I also know that he was a killer and a drug dealer. Sigh. Complicated feelings for both him and the PotW.

Namaste- 01-11-2010

"Hey! It's that guy! The creepy dude from the X-files. Not the one who sucked fat out of people but the other really freaky dude!" "Your hair, is it treated?" Donnie Phaster. He could make that one innocuous line so damn creepy. (And I must say he's aged well.)

Foreman getting the better of the team is no fun. His arrogance needed to be taken down a notch. I got the impression that the joke was 13's idea since Chase asked her how long they were going to do it, so for once I was rooting for 13. And, really, I agree with Poeia when it comes to Foreman as team leader. Foreman isn't nearly as delightful as the writers think he is. I thought Wilson's proposal was hysterical and I wish that I hadn't been spoiled to it happening, but that's the price of being a spoiler-lover. The POTW had a good story though it was pretty obvious that he was going to be a cop. It was a sad ending.

fffaw- 01-11-2010

Wilson hates the couch (and rightly so) because he can't sit right up close to House like the old couch! :-) Bring back the Old Couch! I'm on Team Wilson in this regard!

radiosweetheart- 01-11-2010

Anyone who watches such quality drama as General Hospital is familiar with the strange feelings of liking a professional killer. Sonny's a nice guy, he's good with kids, he cooks and he's a ruthless mob boss. I guess I could've used the Godfather as an example, but I'm just going with what I know. In the laundry 13 gave me a little bit of Olivia on SVU vibe with the quick thinking, pretending to be a trick thing. You can't get much cooler than Olivia, so, yeah...good on 13 for once.
