6.08- Teamwork After House's medical license is reinstated, he reclaims his role as Head of Diagnostics in time to treat Hank Hardwick (guest star Troy Garity), an adult film star admitted to Princeton Plainsboro for pulsating eye pain. Meanwhile, Cuddy is reminded that Princeton Plainsboro is not conducive to healthy personal relationships.

Cameron has got to be one of the worst characters in the history of television. She's been a waste of space for the whole run of the show. Changing your hair color isn't character growth, but that's about the only change she's undergone.
I'd rather be trapped in an elevator with my ex than be subjected to her going on about how much she loved House for one second longer.
LightMyCandle- 11-16-2009
I am actually in tears right now.
I thought Cameron's speech to House was perfect. Admitting that she tried to be like him because she was in love with him, realizing that it was stupid and being strong enough to walk away. I truly believe she has grown. She finally, completely showed the maturity I've been wanting to see from her since I started watching this show.
Chase, I'm very upset with you right now.
Wilson, you have got to stop talking about Huddy. Just stop it!
Still want PI to go away and never return.

That episode was truly terrible. No attention to the case and way too much relationship drama that didn't really add anything. And after all that we get a blend of the current team and the team that left 6 episodes ago. They weren't even gone long enough to miss them. I hope season 6 turns around.

I didn't love the episode. I'm not sure if I even liked it.
Cameron has reverted to her sanctimonious prig days. She was the one who first advocated killing Dibala. So, shouldn't she blame herself for putting the idea in Chase's head?
None of House's wooing the old team felt natural. And House, who let Amber go because "If you're gonna work for me, you have to be willing to be wrong, willing to lose." suddenly can't say the word "wrong?"
They're tendency to hire the "child of" guests continues. He was okay, nothing special.
And the commercials Fox showed during this episode were, bar none, the most annoying I have ever seen.

I really found it hard to stomach listening to Cameron talking about how Chase and House don't respect the sanctity of human life knowing that she's offed someone before too. She was really judgmental about the POTW and his wife considering she's the one who said that a threesome could be good for a marriage too. She's never come across as someone who is sexually inhibited. If she's gone for good, this was an awful send-off. It made no sense for her to say what she did to House and then want to shake his hand and kiss his cheek. I'm none too thrilled to see the return of the screentime sucking vampire 13 either. I also thought the clean living cause of the POTW"s disease was predictable. Haven't they done that before?
And just because I don't know, is Lucas Lucas' first name or last name?

All 512 of them.

It felt like House was suddenly back to S4's games, but no one wanted to play along.
If Cameron is leaving because she thinks the environment is toxic, more power to her. I agree and think it's a pretty mature reasoning from her. However, I think she's just as far gone as House and Chase and has no place to judge. That being said, that was a pretty graceful exit. Eventually House is going to have to deal with breaking them up, though.

Yay Taub! And I'm sure Rachel will understand, eventually.
Seems appropriate that Cameron leaves because she's judging others as not being up to her standards.
I really, really wish this hadn't all been spoiled. The episode might have had more emotional oomph if we didn't already know what it was leading up to. And while JMo sold the final scenes, I'm sorry but I didn't feel anything from her in the first parts. Maybe "emotionally wiped out" was the thing she was going for, though.
Typical Housian twist that the guy's "filthy" lifestyle had nothing to do with his illness. And I love the fact that he actually loves what he does. His whole opening scene about being lucky to do what they do had a very "meta" quality to me, which I kind of dug -- the joy of doing something creative (even if it's porn).
And how much did I love that whole scene with House and Wilson in the apartment?

I actually appreciated the shout-out to the Fonz. That was a famous scene of his, where he couldn't say the Wr word. Insert your own "jump the shark" comment here.
I was spoilered against my will for JMo's departure. I haven't quite sorted out my feelings as to how it was handled. More after a few others post, probably.

I think his name is Lucas Douglas. On this show, it's hard to tell who has what first name and last name (after all, Chase and Cameron are both good first names).
radiosweetheart- 11-16-2009
13 bothers me, but she has the possibility for growth. I'm not sure she will grow, but she could.
Cameron's speech could've been mumbled in S1 or 2.
Lucas' last name is Douglas.

I just loved Chase tossing it back at him in the next scene.

OMG, there was one commercial break that went on as long as one of the six acts, I swear. And then another break, barely one scene later. It's beyond intrusive.

Agreed. True, she doesn't really have room to judge but her marriage had just fallen apart I'm fine with her taking that out on someone. This is possibly the only time I've ever been glad that Cameron's left House speechless. I used to hate it when she did that. I think it was a good send off and I actually did appreciate the parallel between this and her temporary exit in Role Models with the handshaking, even though I hated the Role Models scene. She came off like such a child in it, here...I don't know if it was JM or the actual dialogue but I was just right there with her 100% for the first time ever. But, it seems I have the minority opinion on this one.
I actually appreciated the shout-out to the Fonz.
Me too.

The whole game with the team seemed predetermined and not just because I was spoiled. House told Chase early in the episode that he needed to stay to prove he wasn't just House's sock puppet and his pursuit of Taub and 13 made it clear he wanted them in two spots. So it seemed like all along he was aiming for Cameron to go.
