Good episode. So many good lines. I didn't mind 13 at all this episode. I certainly feel bad for her now - holy crap, Foreman - if you really want to keep her, did it ever occur to you to give up the department instead of firing your girlfriend? Ugh. Arsehole.

I went into this episode very optimistic based on how good last week's episode was. But, OMG, if this was the first episode of House I'd ever seen I'd never tune in again. Boreteen really live up to their name. I enjoyed House and Wilson's part of the story, but I felt like it took up 5 minutes and Boreteen took up 40 minutes. I kept watching the clock and thinking I have an anatomy assigment that would be a better use of my time. Although I'm hopeful for next week and really wish 13 was fired and Taub would quit forever. But, ugh, what a waste of an hour of my life.

I loved all the House/Wilson parts - they are such fun together.

Foreman is a total cockbib. If I was 13, I totally would've thrown something in Foreman's face. Something pointy. And on fire. Watching Cameron catch up with Foreman was like watching toast go cold. Only less interesting. Take the damn computer away, jeepers!!! He's a patient, not a consultant. Loved the special effects-I don't play video games (at all, like, I have never owned a video game system) but that game looks like fun. House took up cooking after getting out of the loony bin. That's funny to me. Very funny.

I thought lot of the episode was silly again, but for some reason it didn't bother me as much as it usually does. I enjoyed it. I realized I now like 13 and Taub more than Cam and Chase. Cuddy was less ridiculous than usual, although the H/W stuff was like fanfic (albeit fun fanfic).

1) Foreman is a jerk. 2) Foreman is one of the biggest jerks in history. Maybe by the time they figure out how to work out the boss/underling thing they won't like each other any more and he needs her to be his girlfriend so he fires her? Does he think she won't take it personally? Also, it might be time to promote Foreman. This is the second time he's been running the department. Even if it's been temporary both times, he really should be an attending. (In Here Kitty, when they were hunting for the cat outside, House said to him "Well, maybe as the senior fellow you could have made sure that my doors were closed, so that I could be concentrating on the cat instead of looking for the cat.") But on to more important things. How great was it that House immediately knew that the toilet wasn't working because Wilson wanted to test his urine. And he put dog pee in there out of spite. If Cuddy and Wilson continue to act this way, however, they will drive him back to the drugs. He's trying to break his old patterns. They have to break theirs and talk to him before assuming the worst. And House looked really, really hot tonight. ETA: And I loved that House solved the case and got the $25,000 reward.

Namaste- 09-28-2009

Yeah, Foreman's an ass in many ways, but it was certainly true to character for him to fire her rather than back out. (And Taub's line about how altruistic Foreman's decision was. Hee. He better be back, dangit. I like the guy. The poor, flailing guy on the floor in the virtual reality game place. Hee again.) In a lot of ways this was the flip side of "Broken," in that we see the impact of House's decision, and though it may be lonely over here, I like both Foreman and Thirteen when they have a story line that makes sense. In this case, it obviously does because Foreman's making his own journey. I've often thought that for as much as Foreman bitches about House being an ass, Foreman is just as much of one if not more -- he merely disguises that ass behavior in designer suits and bravado. Loved House looking for his distractions, tempting Wilson with his balls. (Hee one more time.) Oh, and thank you show for having Cuddy point out that hospitals don't typically have diagnostics departments. They just do because they had House.

Chipmunk_love- 09-28-2009

I really enjoyed this episode. The visual effects were amazing, though I think they stuck too long with them during the patient's psychotic break. The House/Wilson scenes were amazing. I hope House cooking becomes a recurring theme because it seems like it would be a nice counterbalance to the diagnostic obsession. I really felt bad for 13 in this episode. She was ill-used by Foreman who should have thought longer than two minutes before angling for the department. Then again, that's Foreman for you. Loved Taub, especially VR scenes. 13/Taub is a cute friendship. I wonder if this episode was at all a commentary on the internet fandom. Can't wait for next week!

House and Wilson should spend a little time every few episodes enjoying a new hobby. I think that would be awesome!* *fill in your own personal idea of what sort of "hobby" they should take up.

Poeia- 09-28-2009

Yeah, Foreman's an ass in many ways, but it was certainly true to character for him to fire her rather than back out. That I could understand. But he fired her because it was more important to him to have her as his girlfriend than to work with her as a doctor. I assume (unless she has a masochistic streak we've never seen) that he'll end up with neither.

vitawash99- 09-28-2009

Great ep. Clever visuals, snarky dialogue, and everything felt very dynamic throughout the episode. Plus the PotW had a real personality, which always helps. I was definitely not a Foreteen fan last year, but ironically I thought their relationship tonight was both cute and clearly stressed without ever turning shrill. That said...really, Foreman? Firing your girlfriend strikes you as a *good* plan? I mean, yes, it's SOP for you, but still, I'm pretty sure Chase was just kidding about that. (Also, LOL at Foreman and his 3 Facebook friends.) Loved House and Cuddy's scene. Not overwrought, just a little tense, and House's cooking teacher was great. Can I ship House/Cooking Teacher? Domestic House was also delightful. Cooking, cleaning, laundering. Nothing he can't do. Loved the scenes with Nolan and House trying to reason out what he can do with his life. Just overall, a really enjoyable ep.

LightMyCandle- 09-28-2009

So, Foreman, you expect to keep your girlfriend by firing her (when she did nothing wrong) because you want her there at night to stroke your ego? Not only is that the dumbest plan I've ever heard, it makes you an unbelievable jerk. I really hated Foreman tonight. Ugh. I think Chase finally did something about that mess on top of his head. He looked hotter tonight than he has since S3. Too bad there wasn't more of him. H/W was all kinds of domestic cuteness. From House feeding Wilson (so dirty  ) to House doing Wilson's laundry. Oh, and bedhead!Wilson is precious. Cuddy was more than tolerable tonight, she was actually funny in her scene with Wilson and at the end with House and Wilson. Why can't she be like this all the time? Wilson and Cuddy regularly have lunch together? Okay then. Whatever. Wilson has a godson? Besides House, who else is close enough to him to make him a godparent? That seemed weird.

radiosweetheart- 09-28-2009

Cuddy really kind of made me upset in her 3some scene. Wilson seemed genuinely concerned. Cuddy acted like judge, jury and executioner. Browbeating is no way to help a guy get over his demons. ETA: I have personal canon'd Wilson's godson to be a child of a former patient.

fffaw- 09-28-2009

I assume (unless she has a masochistic streak we've never seen) that he'll end up with neither. I should certainly hope she kicks his ass to the curb. What he did was wrong on so many different levels. Wilson has a godson? Besides House, who else is close enoug to him to make him a godparent? That seemed weird. Perhaps his brother has kids? That was my first thought.
