HOUSE AND THE TEAM WORK TO KEEP A HUSBAND AND WIFE ALIVE BUT ARE FORCED TO MAKE A DIFFICULT DECISION AS BOTH PATIENTS’ CONDITIONS DETERIORATE ON AN ALL-NEW “HOUSE” MONDAY, APRIL 6, ON FOX Meat Loaf Guest-Stars Charlotte, an older woman who has spent the last six months taking care of her husband Eddie (guest star Meat Loaf), is rushed to Princeton Plainsboro for immediate treatment after collapsing from respiratory failure at Eddie's deathbed. With both in the hospital, the husband and wife team become a double mystery when Eddie's condition sporadically improves while Charlotte's condition deteriorating. The urgency of Charlotte's medical condition breathes new life into their romantic relationship, and their regrets of what could have been are replaced with tenderness as Charlotte informs the team she wants Eddie to have her heart should she die before him. This was THE worst episode of House I've ever seen. I just didn't like it. AT ALL. What the hell was that? Did they just drop a bridge on Kutner? Out of nowhere? Did his actor quit or something?

Well, fuck. I'm really going to miss him. :-( I thought Taub's reaction and his inability to grieve for Kutner was very real and true. It just broke my heart.

I HATED it. I personally couldn't care less about anything else that happens this season.

That sucked. TPTB missed the boat by a mile with this one. Was it just me, or were a lot of the shots hazy? I couldn't tell from the screen I was watching it on.

It was...well...Meat Loaf is a very good actor. I'm surprised how good he is. He should go by Marvin Lee Aday, tho instead of Meat Loaf, when he's acting. We'd still know who he was. I don't know what else to say, really.

THEY TOOK MY KUTNER!!!!!!! I'm going to miss him. More thoughts later.

I noticed I didn't like it about 10 minutes after his death. I wasn't crying, at all, and I really liked Kutner as a character. Compare that to Amber's death, where I cried and bawled for hours and didn't talk to anyone for the rest of the day. I probably would have cried near the end (the ending was really well done, at least, I thought) if it weren't for my sister and cousins screaming like banshees. But yeah, seriously -- what the fuck? Other than a few pictures, no Kutner what so ever. Did Kal Penn quit or something?

What in the name of all that masquerades as holy was THAT? They could have done SO much more with it. Intsead, they did nothing.

That was awful. Despite being spoiled, the Kutner thing still made zero sense to me even though I'd though about it a lot. The CONSTANT explanation gets worse every week. "You're all about the puzzle..you missed the signs...blahblahblah" obviousness. Why is House so pathetic - he is so different from 2 years ago that it's funny. "Good to see you" since when would House say that? Why is Cuddy so obnoxious now? Why is Wilson so one-note and joining house in the constant over explanation? 13 is now the least of my problems with the show. The ridiculous, sappy, overdramatic and unbelievable storylines and dialogue make me cringe each time. That, coupled with an unethical and completely ridiculous Greys anatomy- style "patient dilemma" just made me angry at how low this show has gone - did they switch writers or something?

I liked that they didn't provide a neat explanation.

Even being spoiled I found the way they told us about Kutner was a little bit abrupt. Still not sure how I feel about the episode. The POTW (although I do like MeatLoaf as an actor) really didn't do much for me. I found it very hard to care about the couple at all. Not my fav episode of the season.

I didn't like it. The ending made me cry, but this is the first episode I watched that I did not want to rewatch soon if ever. Taub made me cry. As did Foreteen when they held hands.
