For the first time I called something right ahead of time. I knew once they said Wilson had a new love interest that it would be his brother's doctor. Err...I guessed it anyhow.

This episode was GREAT. Definitely one to dl and keep close by. There is so so much good I could say about it, but the one thing that really jumped out at me was how perceptive the locked in guy was to his outside surrounding and interactions, so in effect he wasn't locked in at all, "If she turns around, she's into him too" for example. I don't know how believable it is that someone (other than House) could be that perceptive, but it did a great job of character development who really didn't have many other ways to tell us who he is besides his voice and internal monologue.
There were also some really good funny moments, like "There's also a Navy Seal House but you have to save up for that one."
I think the last scene was just that House is "locked in" to what he is and can't/won't change.
Also, who knew Hugh Laurie could even look hot in a hoodie?

Oh he did. I knew I wasn't the only one who noticed.
I feel like since my family can't give me an hour of peace I only notice the shallow on first watch.

*raises hand
Also, I might add that he was wearing the t-shirt that he wore in House's Head and Meaning. Seems to be House's "very special episode" shirt.

I would pay any amount of money for that shirt. If anyone is interested in more info and possibly finding it, I can head over to the props/wardrobe thread and give the info I have, maybe we can get lucky.
As far as this ep is concerned, I thought the hoody thing (which he looked so, SO hot in...did I mention that already?) gave me kind of a warm fuzzy feeling too. Can't you just imagine Cuddy (or Cuddy on Cameron's behest) dropping by with clean clothes for House to come back to PPTH in?

Wilson also looks hot as hell in a hoodie.
These boys and their hoodies, mighty fine.
::not even ankle deep in the shallow end::

Of course Hugh looks hot in a hoodie. Hugh looks hot in *anything.*
This was a lovely episode for us shallow-enders. Hugh in hoodie. Hugh windblown in Hawaiian shirt and bare feet. Endless shots of those yummy blue eyes.
And a Cameron scene. It is so pathetic that I can be made so happy these days by one little tiny Cameron scene ... but she got to *touch* him!
Loved Kutner. Not sure what to make of Taub. I think I would have liked that locker room scene better if Kutner had jumped up and said the rat pee diagnosis was Taub's idea, rather than Taub claiming it and Kutner acceding.
Now I do admit to some totally irrational prejudice against Huddy, but that "if she turns around, she's into you" bit felt forced and tacked-on. Just me? OK, I'll show myself out.

The hoodie and the skeleton tee - just those 2 things alone made it a very special episode.
Add me to the really liked it, but need to re-watch list.
Mos Def did a great job.

I really liked this episode a lot. Not that much Wilson but the Wilson we got was amazing. I loved seeing Wilson being the obsessed one for once and I don't really quite believe that House went to see a therapist. There has to be more to that.
I liked Mos Def and his family. And not too much 13 and 14.
But the ending really blew me away. The door closing on blurry!Wilson. Probably the most bizarre ending ever.

The man would look hot in a burlap sack.

That might not have been enough for Taub to keep his job. House kept him because the job meant enough to him that he was willing to lie to keep it.

Interesting episode, and really cool guest star. The humor was particularly great this week, despite the incredibly un-funny situation of the patient. I liked the way it started out snarky and the patient's optimism and dream world faded into darkness, with House as a source of hope. The camera work was interesting, although I got sort of nauseous in the whirly montage of places the patient could have been.
Weirdly, while I enjoyed the problem-solving aspects, etc., I did feel like it dragged now and then...which was sort of problematic because without paying attention all the nuances of the end wouldn't make sense. I don't know if it was one of those wonky six act issues, but at some point I looked up and was like "There's how long left?" I really liked the way all the pieces of the episode came together in the end, though, so I'm not sure that actually mattered.
Oh, Wilson. *shakes head sadly* Hmmm, House in therapy. Interesting. And why so far away?
God, damn, Foreman, that bracelet was ugly. Expensive =/= good, dear. Loved him going "The bracelet was real!" I still remember Chase calling Foreman "insecure" back in S1. Glad it's still there now and then, heh. Taub was such a sad sack and trying so hard, and Kutner was so clever and kind to Taub. Liked Thirteen carefully explaining things to the patient, too.
All in all, really good use of everyone and a cool episode.

Jeez, how do you know these things? LOL...really corny line coming up: you make me want to be a better fangirl.
Okay, well if the merchandising people at Fox knew what they were doing, they'd sell those PPTH hoodies. They'd make a bundle after this episode alone.
One thing I wondered (and in the scene where Stacy did the same thing)...why is it that on tv, when someone has a big scrape on the face, someone who cares about that person feels the need to touch said scrape?! Um, ow!!
Mos Def was great (as expected, I hold him to a high standard. He's great in everything I've seen him in). The whole gosh darn thing was great. They hit this one out of the park, imho.

Oh, and just as an aside, my mother called me at the exact second Chase showed up on screen. Thanks, Ma. Rolling Eyes
Hee. mr. maya chose the very moment Cuddy appeared to tell me about something that had happened at work. I missed that scene entirely.
I don't really quite believe that House went to see a therapist
Yeah, me neither. I guess it's true, though, unless they come up with some great big reveal that it's all a front and he had a fiendishly cunning plan to keep the real reason from Wilson.
Also, WTH, this episode was written by Friend, Lerner and Foster. No Shore? I may be mistaken, though (My 20 pound cat jumped into my lap around the time the writing credits were airing and I was dealing with him).
ETA: And a big yes to the comments about how House looked hot in his hoodie. And I agree that Wilson is "hoodie hot" too.

For the record, that's the only shirt I've ever paid attention to, higher power of choice knows why. :)
And yes, Fox totally should. And spray some of Hugh's cologne on each one. No, I don't have issues!
