5.18 - Here Kitty Nursing-home worker Morgan (guest star Judy Greer) fakes sick to get House's attention after the home’s pet cat sleeps next to her. It seems that the cat only pays a visit to people if they are about to die – and does so with alarming accuracy. While House dismisses Morgan as a nut job, he is intrigued by her theory on the kiss-of-death cat, and sets out to disprove it. When Morgan falls seriously ill, he and the team are forced to get to the bottom of both mysteries.

Oh Kutner! "Yeah, a cat"
Poor Taub. I love him and I hate to see him so beaten down. And the last shot of him and the cat - if that's implying anything, I will be very sad indeed.

#1 thing: NO PROMO!!! Grrr.
I love Kutner. Really. Need to rewatch. Cranberry juice, House & Wilson in the elevator, House & Cuddy watching the tape and Kutner's "cat pee" stunt = made of win.

And for all those who claim House has jumped the shark, we have the opening sequence. Hee

Kutner, ILU. *cuddles*
What was with the repeat promo? Fail, Fox, fail.

This episode was a lot of fun. Very thought-provoking, but mainly a lot of fun. I loved House & Wilson in the elevator and House & Cuddy watching the tape. Oh, and Kutner. My love for Kutner grows every single week.
I've got a scary feeling about Taub...

Fun, fun episode! Amazing how the quality of the show skyrocketed when House/Cuddy and 14 got shunted to the side. I've even enjoyed the House/Cuddy scenes the last two episodes :D
House and Wilson's elevator scene...there are no words for how awesome that was.
And Kutner. This is why I love him - he's happy, smart, cares about patients, and isn't afraid of House. And he peed on House's chair.

My gray cat, Max, spent the whole episode curled up next to me in bed. Should I be worried or am I just really warm?! ;-)
If they do anything to Taub, I'm going to be seriously bummed.

I thought this was actually a pretty good epiode given what most of Season 5 has been. The confirmation that Chase still believes in faith and prayer is hugely satisfying to me. Last we heard, he didn't know what he believed, but he still was trying to believe. The moment with House and Wilson in the elevator was LOL worthy. Little 13 is good (though none would be better). The shark-jumping at the start was clever. I honestly just don't care about Taub. I find him so drab and boring, but I'll take Taub over 13 any day. One of the best things about the episode was that it was not ship heavy. It got to be more about the story the medicine was telling and less about who's doing whom or who wants to do whom.
I got a little annoyed with the way they were handling the cat at times, but I'm sure they had a professional handler on set to make sure the cat was treated well.

Damn, you beat me to it! Love those meta moments. (For the record, I don't think the show has JTS, but still ...)
Too little Wilson. Boo. No Cameron. Boo x 2. But for once, a Taub story line I actually cared about. Poor guy.
LightMyCandle- 03-16-2009
I don't mind not getting much Wilson now that he's not going on and on about Huddy, it was enough of him to leave me satisfied on that front. It felt pretty old school House and Wilson.
Chase was awesome. I'd forgotten that I really do enjoy it when his faith is brought up. It's such a refreshing viewpoint because it's different from everyone else's on the show.
Cute cat. I'm not much of a cat person, but this one was pretty.
Why is JM still on this show?

Al E Cat kept giving me strange looks every time they talked about Death Cat. I think he's getting ideas...
Oh Taub, don't you know if it sounds too good to be true, it almost certainly is. Be careful, please.
Kutner-please come hang out with me. It'll be fun. We can eat cereal from big bowls and watch the Weird Al Show and later, we can make out. It'll be awesome.
Death Cat would be a great band name.

Kutner was great. "Why are you still alive?" i think House may have appreciated that Kutner pulled the stunt. Another episode that House took no meds. Out of curiosity does anyone know who was singing at the end of the show? Sounded a little like one of the Ray Vaughn brothers. ( the singer for the Fabulous Thunderbirds )

WHEE.
That was my very coherent take on this episode.
All in all, though, really enjoyable. The cat was excellent and very well-behaved despite being apparently filled with rage for a large portion of the time.
Oh, Taub. *worries*
Kutner is just so tweaked.

Did Kutner piss on House's chair? (And why would House mind? He wanted Wilson to piss on his couch.)
Good episode. All about House and his search for truth and facts. They seem to have a good balance finally.
Having had Thirteen shoved down my through so far, it's going to take a while before my hatred of her will dissipate, but they way they've been going, it might happen. She was a member of the cast, not the co-star. The Foreteen stuff played very naturally.
Poor Taub. Will he go back to plastic surgery? They went too far by having the con man being a temp. A receptionist might have keys to get into the office at night after everyone else has left -- a temp wouldn't.
My favorite Kutner moment was when he tossed the salt over his shoulder after House left.
I like how they tied Chase's stuff back to his beliefs in Damned If You Do and Cain and Able. He's a person of science but he wants to believe there's more out there.
