I like Daniel, that seems right.
Wilson's Superman line was the funniest part of the episode, perfect delivery by RSL. Plus, now his Superman pose makes sense. :P
I love Taub and Kutner being buddies. It's just so cute, much more entertaining than 14's attempt at lightness and cuteness.
I'm glad we got the 14 scene and the Huddy scene out of the way early and pretty much back to back.
For some reason, yesterday I got really freaked out about this episode, I was sure it would end in some horribly angsty way, so I was definately relieved at the ending. Wilson wants House to meet his brother. That's so awww inducing. Too bad we'll probably never see that event. That would be interetsting.

This has to be one of my favorite episodes of the season if not the show.
House/Wilson perfection. I am glad House offered to go with Wilson. He isn't always an ass. I'm glad they finally met half way and Wilson confided in House. I think they both realize(d) that this is how bad things happen, by avoiding just being direct and honest.
Do we know who wrote it?

One thing I had a problem with: There is NO WAY that Cuddy is 38.
YES! I mean come on, are we to assume she's been running the hospital since she was approx 32?
If so, I'm going to go play in traffic.

There's a reason we call her Saint Doris - that woman writes House/Wilson so beautifully and with such a deep understanding - she really sees the heart of the "stupid, screwed up friendship."

Thank you. I had a strong feeling that it was her. :)

Wilson's brother finally has a name! About time!
So much good H/W.
The House/Chase scene was terribly anvilicious, but it made me tear up.
Cuddy's smile in the elevator was adorable. And you know how I feel about Huddy.
How good was this episode? The Foreteen didn't annoy me. And (drum roll, please): I didn't miss Cameron.

Watch out for the garbage trucks and buses. From "Humpty Dumpty:"
Cuddy: I graduated medical school at 25, pissed off that I was second in my class. Chief of Medicine at 32. Second youngest ever, first woman.
We had all sorts of canon callbacks this time. The 13 years since Wilson's seen is brother is consistent with the nine years reference in "Histories," and Cuddy's age.

Also, for timeline fans, we now know that Wilson has been at PPTH for 13 years, and that he has known House for longer than that (long enough that House thought that Wilson came to Princeton for him alone).

Oh crap...y'know Namaste, it's very possible I had blocked that little piece of information out.
It's been nice knowing y'all. Gotta go end my life a failure. Peace out.

Histories was Season 1 so it was 4 years ago.
I loved the POTW. And it's the first time in quite a while that we had a real parallel between House and the patient.
Chase's scene rocked. Loved how he got right to the heart of the matter -- the patient is diagnosed. Why do you care? (And Chase works for a neurosurgeon. He isn't the director of all surgial specialties at PPTH. Yeah!)
Cuddy's scenes were perfect. She knew House wouldn't have paged her if he couldn't see. It was perfect that he did it to be nice to her (in a very Housian way.
And, best of all, simply perfect House/Wilson. House was very taken aback at Wilson's (I may have overreacted) rant but that didn't stop him from using it to figure out more. So sweet that he offered to go with Wilson and be his emotional support. So House to forget Wilson was even in the room once he had his epiphany.
His telling Wilson that he doesn't think W has a core personaility, that he's just whatever the person he's with needs, was possibly the nastiest thing House has ever said. His making Wilson realize that the only thing he did wrong was hang up the phone once was one of the nicest.
Will we get to meet Danny when House does or does the LLB story end now?
Wilson is older than Danny. I still want to know where the other brother fits in? X-James-Daniel; James-X-Daniel or James-Daniel-X? Why weren't X and the Wilson parents going to see Danny too?
Great episode.

The PotW story was very entertaining this week, which saved the episode for me because I kept zoning out from boredom during Wilson's scenes. And Taub was cute.
radiosweetheart- 03-09-2009
Wonder who wrote next week's episode? I have my fingers crossed that the LLB story carries thru to the meeting, that would make my St. Patrick's Day.
I never imagined Wilson as an older brother. That's interesting. And I'm VERY interested in what the Other Brother is like. Maybe we'll get a Wilson family portrait! That would be so great.

Oh yeah, in the midst of my H/W high, I forgot about the Phineas Gage reference. I actually knew that one, I felt so smart. *is pathetic*
However brief, I'm glad there was the tiny speculation on House and Taub's part that Wilson could be sick or suicidal.
His telling Wilson that he doesn't think W has a core personaility, that he's just whatever the person he's with needs, was possibly the nastiest thing House has ever said.
Yeah, that really stuck out as a pretty cruel thing to say, just brutally so. But, I forgive him since he was so supportive later on.
So, Taub's part in this was just Wilson asking for him to go along with the lie? He didn't really know what was going on anymore than House did. At least I don't think he did, it would be pretty awful if he did and let House believe (even suggest) something was seriously wrong with Wilson.
Namaste- 03-09-2009
And since no one mentioned this yet ... "He's Harry Potter. The sorting hat wanted to put Harry into Slytherin, but Harry wanted Gryffendor..."
I heart Kutner so much. and the patient talking about how he looked too cheerful, and the way he got Taub to pay for his lunch (very House/Wilson.)
