5.15 - Unfaithful A FAKE CASE BECOMES A REAL ONE AS THE TEAM TREATS A PRIEST WHOSE PAST HAS TAKEN HIS FAITH FROM HIM ON "HOUSE" MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9, ON FOX
When a priest who runs a homeless shelter sees a bleeding Jesus hovering at his doorstep, he is admitted to the ER. House takes on the case as a distraction for the team while he confronts Foreman and Thirteen about their relationship. The team soon learns the priest had been involved in a molestation scandal that caused him to lose his faith. However, just as they are about to dismiss his case, the patient's condition takes a drastic turn for the worse, and House grapples with his past and his belief in the "Unfaithful" episode of HOUSE airing Monday, Feb. 9 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/ PT) on FOX. I love Jimmi Simpson. I really enjoyed the scenes between him and HL.
So much Wilson tonight - always a good thing in my book.
Foreteen pulls one over on House. I gotta admit I love that. :-)
Beautiful composition by HL. (My closed captioning said "Cuddy's Serenade")

I KNEW they were both playing each other! Oh that ending...knew that was coming too.
So this was the episode Yaitanes mentioned before he booted us on Twitter (about the piano). He directed this one.
I love Wilson. I say it (or at least think it) every week, but I do.

That was the best case in ages. I enjoyed the POTW and his interaction with House. I might have enjoyed this patient more because the majority of his interaction was with Taub and Kutner and not 13 which was a glorious change of pace. I could seriously live without the 14 crap.
Is there a reason Cameron said, "Save it for the wedding," to Chase? And she was *happy* that Cuddy was interested in House. Is the CamCrush finally dead?! Whoo-hoo!

I just have to say, OMG little Matt Maguire is all grown up. Wow. Please tell me I'm not the only one here young enough to have been into Lizzie Maguire.
Lots of Wilson and a Wilson induced epiphany, it's been too long.
Cuddy, if you insist on keeping your hair like that, at least stop wearing layers so you don't look so frumpy. Not that it matters because I'm going to have to ask you and your baby to get out of my face.
And a little C/C? Awesome, and Cam supporting Huddy. I don't support Huddy but hey, more power to her if she wants to.

Okay episode. I'm satisfied enough.
Best part - 14. They had me going; I was getting pissed at Foreman there for a minute. Glad it was an act - and glad to see them making out some more (yes, shallow, don't care).
Worst part - Cuddy. They seem determined to make her as unlikeable as possible. The plotline of the episode failed at making me feel sad. I cheered to see Cuddy and House walk off in opposite directions.
Looking forward to next week. That looks, um, interesting.

Why must they tease us with weekly possible 14 departures? It's just cruel at this point.
Finally, an episode that almost doesn't require a wailing cry of "Needs MOAR Wilson!!!"
It was pretty good, but I totally didn't buy that dude was Jesus. Everybody knows Jesus sounds like Ted Neeley. Faux-Jesus' voice was too low.

That end composition was amazing. Every episode should end this way. Did I catch a bit of "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You" in there? Anyway, Hugh is a genius.
This episode was fun. Everyone was on their game. So much Wilson. The man is so great in so many ways.
I love that they left the religion issue up in the air. Yes, all the coincidences could be rationalized, but Jesus, look how many coincidences there were. Good stuff.

I *thought* he looked familiar! I'm way too old to know who he is. Shame on me!

Seriously. It's just cruel. But we all know it's a hoax and not to get our hopes up by now.

I do not, for one minute, believe House doesn't know Foreteen were faking the fight. I wish Cuddy had just hired him to be a neurologist in the hospital. Since when has she cared about how the outside world viewed the integrity of the hospital?
What was the secret about the kid? I'm guessing the priest rejected him and he reported him from spite.
Still a little short of Chase but we're getting closer to some balance between the supporting characters.

So did I, though it's a little sad when quite a few people in the spoiler section already guessed how the end sequence would go. Think harder, writers.

I'm just proud Chase seemed to wash his hair for the ceremony.
ETA: Question. Is that a picture of Stephen Colbert behind House's desk?

Loved so much of this one. For one, I think they've finally got a handle on the six-act episode. It feels much less disjointed now than it did at the beginning of the season.
For two, there were several laugh out loud lines. (The whole Taub/Kutner bit on not needing a "map to the treasure chest" and Taub's "You can buy a shovel.") The Duran Duran references. "They weren't a hair band. They were New Romantics" and needing to get New Moon on Monday out of his head (stuck in mine now. Thanks.)
For three, I love these episodes with a confluence of religion/morals/scientific realism in which there are no certainties. The priest rediscovers his faith, House can point to rational explanations.
And the wonderfully screwed up human emotions topped off by a happy ceremony in which pure happiness eludes those involved, all overseen by House's music.
One weird question ... was it just me or was there a photo of HL as Bertie Wooster on the desk behind House in his office in scene where Foreman came to get his job back? It wasn't fully in focus, but the pose certainly reminded me of it.
ETA: Hmm. Maybe it was Colbert.

It's apparently a picture of Stephen Colbert.
