Wow, I hope the House/Cuddy and the baby stuff don't keep getting dragged on. The baby stuff was the worst part of this episode, it was so contrived and blatant, clumsy attempt at being "touching"...much like Fetal Position, the Worst Episode Evar! Fortunately, unlike the rest of the episodes in this arc, everything else about this episode was awesome. I'll be rewatching this right away. And Santa answered by request for some good H/W - Wilson's note and House wearing Wilson's clothes. (It's funny that was never directly commented on...)

Chipmunk_love- 12-09-2008

Well, I enjoyed this. I thought Cuddy was quite badass, and my love for Kutner and Taub grows ever more. I related a little too well to the POTW, at least in terms of overachievement and teasing, so that's where the tears came for me. This was good. I hope House will be happy for Cuddy. I get the feeling that if she hadn't already called the lawyer, he was going to suggest it.

Was is confirmed that Wilson wrote a note addressed to "Greg"? I guess so. That kinda freaked me out - somewhere a million fanfic writers who have been told it's OOC are cheering. ;-) It just sounds...wrong.

NightOwl- 12-09-2008

I find it hard to believe that the science fiction geek, Kutner, was a bully. Not me. I knew plenty of "cool guys" in high school who were science fiction geeks (or geeks about something else).

It just sounds...wrong. I agree. Maybe Wilson only calls him Greg at Christmas.

I laughed out loud a couple times. Loved the clinic patients of course. Loved House of course. I really have to watch it again. I felt like I loved it, loved it, then it sort of lost me with Cuddy going to the house to find the baby. But then loved Cuddy and House's scene at the end (even though I wanted more). Him wishing Cuddy a Merry Christmas was so so sweet. Not sure about Foreteen. And I don't think I liked the accusing Foreman of being House. I'm curious what others have to say about that. ETA: I don't "think", I know I don't like the accusing.

I know this is completely shallow, but I wasn't loving Cuddy's bangs at all (I think they make her look old for some reason), but then she looked adorable in that beret. I know this adds absolutely nothing to the conversation and for that, I apologize.

Dr.Jerk- 12-09-2008

Irene Adler reference FTW! And I'm guessing that Kutner bullied the guy in high school because he was small (sure seems like he still is), and the geek/foster kid/saw his parents killed felt the need to strike out and the poor guy was the only target even further down the social ladder than he was. Irene Adler reference FTW indeed! Kutner bulling the guy...alright. I can live with that. Foreman and thirteen? ....great. Two characters I hate dating. If they have a kid, that kid will be the antichrist. And the virgin birth? That...was...I don't know, just..House. And it has been a while since we actually saw House doing something as outrageous as that..And I loved to see that again. It was hilarious.

Housewhore4- 12-09-2008

I have to admit, I was kind of disappointed. The episode, as a whole, was great, but the Huddy? All I've heard for two weeks is how amazing this would be and how House and Cuddy would come to revelations they had no idea they would ever see, and that something unforgettable would happen between the two. What do we get? "Merry Christmas, Cuddy." *In House voice* Seriously? That's it? I mean, that was very sweet, but it wasn't something for a spoiler seeker to go gaga over. And yeah, Extra_Cat, I didn't see the "tear jerker"ness either. Nothing really to cry about, we've seen more depressing/happy before. Now I'm mad, the high bar of expectations for Huddy is ruining the rest of the greatness of this episode. Everything else was fantastic. The clinic patients, do I have words? lol! So great, I missed them so much. Never again, David Shore, will you take our clinic away from us! Thank you for bringing it back :D Some other complaints though (sorry, I must): Another expectation that was not met, less 13. I think we saw just as much, maybe more of her than we see on a weekly basis. From the sounds of it, her spotlight was going to be cut down, but I didn't notice any trimmings, anyone? Anyone? Maybe I just hate her character so much her scenes will always seem extensive, and USELESS! Foreteen is even worse than I imagined. Ugh... One more thing, the Kutner apology, I'm sorry, that was just corny! Come on writers! Really? Was that necessary, because its about the most cliche Christmas moral you could think of.

Not sure about Foreteen. And I don't think I liked the the accusing Foreman of being House. I'm curious what others have to say about that. I get tired of that myself. I really don't think that Foreman and House are alike, never have. I like House, but I can't stand Foreman.

I know this adds absolutely nothing to the conversation and for that, I apologize. It's taken me a while to get used to LE's bangs. Personally, I think they're a bit long for someone her age (like Sarah Palin's bangs -- you're a professional in your 40s; snip, snip!), but I think after a while I'll like them. It's just a shock, like JMo's blonde.

Since it hasn't been said yet, and I'm all about the shallow: Hugh in the shirt and tie, no jacket, hotter than hell.

Some scenes though, the bangs were screaming to be trimmed.
