Oh man. Pass me another box of Kleenex. That was brutal. Rest in peace, CTB.

Wow... I didn't even like Amber, and I still cried. Poor Wilson. He might never forgive House.

Can't talk...crying so hard. God, that one hurt really bad. I haven't bawled like that over a TV show in forever.

OMG That was SO SAD. I had a feeling this was how the Amber arc would end. This ep was AMAZING. I loved how Cuddy was holding House's hand at the end. RSLs acting was so superb.

Very well done, excellent job tying all four seasons together, and all little things coming to an end. Thankfully it's just a season finale, but it could have worked as a series finale as well (although I'd want to know the resulting House/Wilson dynamic). Just, I'm really glad I searched for the waterproof mascara.

Beautifully done. It was all just an accident nothing more. So Wilson will possibly withdraw from House because Amber followed him on to the bus. House will not regret Wilson asking him to have the surgery he didn't hesitate. House will have to take care of Wilson now, even if Wilson rebuffs him and he probably will. We never do find out why House went off to get drunk, bad day, pain, loneliness, life?

That was so beautiful. I've known Amber was going to die for 3 weeks, and I'm still crying. I'm so happy that none of our crack theories came true, because this was the perfect way to go. My Huddy heart loved that last shot with Cuddy and House. For me, it said it all. I keep going back and forth between whether or not Wilson will hate House for this. He shouldn't; this was just an unfortunate series of events. No one is truly at fault. And yet, House is... By the way...13 needs a hug. As does Kutner. And I loved Taub hugging his wife.

I am officially a mess. If you're looking for me, I'll be the person balled up over in the corner. I'm with House. Stay on the bus, because it hurts too much to get off. Good Lord. If they'd only had a full season to build on from here -- just think of how much we've got. I hurt for everyone -- Thirteen with her positive results, Kutner all alone, Taub aching for his wife, Foreman who at least has Cameron and Chase and Wilson, of course, along with House and Cuddy, each trying to find their own way. What a masterful job this season of taking the bitch who "pied pipered" people out of a job when we first met her, until this.

Last week was Hugh's Emmy. This week was RSL's.

Still crying thinking about it. Group hug anyone?

Omg, Wilson and Amber in that stretcher scene killed me. /tears up Poor Wilson, House, Thirteen...asfhaksdfhaksf. *incoherent* The original!duckling get together at the end made me smile though... :(

cindylouwho- 05-19-2008

I don't even know what to say. House isn't to blame, it is who hit the bus, it's their fault. I can see how they will get H/C (ugh). I hope Wilson can get past this. He has to realize he couldn't have imagined that would happen. That note was brutal. House in a coma? How original. He is worried Wilson is going to hate him so I can see him being all detox!House and nice!House, and I love you for real Wilson!House. I love how CCF are all back together again like that. That made me so happy. 13 finally knows.

I loved the fact that they reminded us in the ambulance scene that House had a concussion and a heart attack and set up his less-than-stellar condition right away; it makes everything else so much more significant than when they just forget about continuity and medical realism. I love even more that even in his condition, even with the Amber and Wilson emergency going on, he took the time to have a real mentory-type conversation with Thirteen instead of just yelling at her. I really want to read the missing scene where they get Chase to agree to the brain stimulation. Since Wilson seemed to be the only one assisting, I got the impression it wasn't exactly a Cuddy-approved procedure. And I'm glad they changed the makeup on Amber's head wound, 'cause it was grossing me out last ep. I don't even like Amber, and I felt more for Thirteen than I did for Wilson in this ep, but even so, they had me crying when they started the duckling-goodbyes scene (even though rationally, I think it was cliched) and I never stopped. And I hoped for a while that House was going to stay in the coma, 'cause we know he has cool visions while unconscious and it actually would have been a less-miserable way to spend the summer hiatus. But at least it didn't end quite as misery-making as I had expected (making me miserable, that is). I don't even want to think about the more important parts of it yet.

Chipmunk_love- 05-19-2008

I did find the irony in Wilson having to tell Amber that she was dying. Doubt House and Wilson are ever going to joke about Wilson's magical communication abilities again.
