The moment when the bus hit behind Amber and her hair blew out around her head was so intense and surrealistic. I know I've said "wow" and "intense" about 1,000 times already tonight, but I'm still agog.

Sister Trixi- 05-12-2008

When Taub commented on the number of vicodin House was taking was House at that point, I wonder, taking the alzheimer's drug? On a shallow note, Chase's soft hyno-voice is very, very nice. If he were hynotizing me I'd be too distracted by his prettyfulness to concentrate. The Cuddy pole dancing scene, which I knew would happen, was much, much better than I anticipated. I guess Huddy is really going to happen. Filey, hurry up and process, I need to understand what I saw.

I'm aghast and agog as well! Love all the surrealism and symbolism and crazy tripped out shit. Yeah, Ambers hair getting blown out was cool. So I guess the whole Amber question is the big one. Its possible they'll kill her off as a way to exit her character. And if she was messin with House, that could destroy the H/Wilson friendship (and it can't really be destroyed, since the series relies on that, so maybe it'll just *damaged*). The promos did show SPOILER-->what seemed like a fantasy of Amber climbing on Hugh (straddling him). Yeah, the cuddy show was something all right. Esp at the end when she crouched down to do what we all were thinking! I bet Lisa was thrilled to see that in the script!

Anne Dudek is quite fortunate in many respects. Sorry, I'm in the shallow end at the moment.

Anne Dudek is quite fortunate in many respects. Sorry, I'm in the shallow end at the moment. You beat me to it, NightOwl. Lucky, lucky, lucky woman. I wanna be a Cutthroat Bitch!!

So I'm thinking Emmys for 1.) Hugh 2.) The show 3.) the script 4.) the director, and if they give one for special effects that should be 5. Also did anyone notice "Story by Doris Egan" at the beginning.

LightMyCandle- 05-12-2008

Yes, Anne Dudek is the luckiest woman alive. *Seethes with envy* She's getting RSL and HL action? No fair.

olivia720- 05-12-2008

Yeah, Anne Dudek managed to beat the odds by being one of the stand out fellowship kids. That alone took amazing luck. Then she gets to make out with RSL and possibly mess with Laurie. So the heavens def shined on her. Yay for Doris! :D

Taiga- 05-12-2008

No way did House and Amber have sex (stands firm and points to icon.

Also did anyone notice "Story by Doris Egan" at the beginning. I did and let out a cheer. I sure do love me some Saint Doris creativity. She rules. I want Anne Dudek's job and Lisa Edelstein's body (actually Lisa's job too!). Lucky, lucky women.

And Chase actually prevented House from getting at the truth during the hypnosis by telling him to ignore Amber? I don't think so; didn't he say something like "ignore them for the moment"? And the woman in black (The Answer, I like that) still appeared afterward, and with a rather significant stare. It was House who chose to focus on the first potential-patient-like person who appeared instead of giving it a bit more time to see who else was around. But I can see it perhaps being Chase's suggestion that made her appear as the woman in black rather than Amber herself after that point. Chase was all kinds of hot using his hypnosis voice. Chase's hotness is not the only or even one of the main reasons I watch, but he does once in a while make it difficult to remember what the other reasons are. :-) Loved him telling Wilson to shut up. So, is she working at PPTH or in a private clinic in the area? Princeton is part of a very densely populated area where people regularly commute back and forth between different cities; remember that Foreman was working in New York for a while, and Taub presumably still lives there. Amber could believably be working anywhere from New York to Philly, and there's a lot of anywheres there to choose from.

And regarding Lisa's body, it's even more amazing that she'll be 42 next week. Talk about a great advertisement for yoga and a vegan diet.

I was only spoiled insofar as House was in a bus accident and he lost his memory. And I'm going to have to watch it again tomorrow. Because, right now, I don't understand what everyone is raving about. I thought it was an interesting episode but not a spectacular one. I thought Hugh Laurie did his usual, excellent acting job. But I thought this episode required less emotional range than many others did. And, where he usually has to exhibit a variety of emotions in a very short space of time -- humor, anger, frustration, etc. I didn't see this here. I liked the fact that they managed to use the whole cast and give them all something real to do. I liked Chase telling Wilson to shut up during the hypnosis. And the Cuddy fantasy ending because he'd rather be diagnosing. But I thought the amber necklace was so, so overdone. House was able to remember that the necklace was made out of a resin but not that it's amber? Question: When House stands up from the tub and walks to the sink, he doesn't limp. And he clearly puts some weight on his right leg. Was this an error or hallucination? And, if it was part of the hallucination, what did it mean? There was no payoff. Kutner: House's skull fraction extends all the way down to his ear canal. Foreman: House is being looked after. Our other patient has jaundice, low albumen and no diagnosis. Taiga, I think I feel another Foreman error coming. What sort of neurologist says "forget about the fractured skull?" I think the fact that they didn't deal with the fracture has to be a factor next week. But I have no idea what.

Yeah thanks for making me feel even fatter, Lisa! I'm not normally that into Chase but he was quite the bowl of melting chocolate tonight.

Yeah thanks for making me feel even fatter, Lisa! I'm not normally that into Chase but he was quite the bowl of melting chocolate tonight. Mmm. Normally I don't expect much Chase from major episodes. But amazing episode plus droolworthy Chase is like the cherry on top of the icing.
