When Cuddy and Wilson were doing CPR on House, I thought maybe we were cutting back to 97 Seconds. But it was Amber who revived him that time, so I guess not.
Me to. I thought they they were flipping between old clips of 97 Seconds and the present scene with Cuddy reviving House.

It couldn't all be a hallucination until the bus crash at the end because House went into cardiac arrest and, when Wilson and Cuddy brought him around all the regulars were on the bus with signs of who they were playing hanging around their necks. So, unless that's how they usually go to a crash scene, House had to arrange for the reenactment while he wasn't hallucinating.

I feel like I should be more impressed than I am. It's easily the best episode of the season so far, but, still... I don't know. I might need to rewatch it to pick up more details. Good thing this is the only episode of the season that I might even consider rewatching. I also think that being spoiled kind of made it less impressive than it should be. I love spoilers, but they can be a bad thing too.
I think that whether Amber lives or dies, Wilson is going to suspect that House and Amber have been having an affair and that's going be a major problem. I don't expect Amber to live, but it's interesting that if she does, she's going to be limping from that leg injury (or possibly have an amputation).
Of course I enjoyed the hypnosis stuff. I just wish Chase was more of a presence in the shows. Great actor, great character... I MISS HIM. Yes, it was some super program in Melbourne--being able to hypnotize someone in ten seconds flat.

This is one of the best eps ever.
Ok When Hugh came out saying "I can't sleep mommy" I pretty much had an instant orgasm.

I don't know how I feel. it would have been better had I not known the big twist lol. The last 15 minutes were great. The opening was weird but cool. I had trouble getting into "House's Head" though...the hallucinations started to get old and just felt trippy. It was clever but at the same time almost uncomfortably bizarre. They definitely tried very hard though - I give the writers credit. The bar through Amber's leg was a bit too symbolic for my tastes lol.

That was great I thought Amber had to try an revive House on the actual bus, but no, he was flashing back to when she did that for him in 97 Secs., then to real time when Wilson & Cuddy revive him.
My head is still spinning.

I Loved the hallucinations/flashback scenes. But I love shit like that anyway. All the symbolism and veiled meanings. Love that.

Olivia - I was just getting ready to post about that. I thought for a split second we might get some Huddy! And I can't remember if you were the one a couple of pages back who didn't tape - but you don't have to wait for the DVD's - it should be repeated on USA next Friday or the next.

Oh! I know! And the sweet way he said, "Hey" to wake her up? Perfect. And the way she had to keep herself from looking as he zipped up his fly? More perfect.
And the way that it was her doing the differential with him on the bus? Even more perfect. Also odd, because she usually sucks at differentials that we see. And yet, it was her he subconsciously bounces his ideas off of - not one of his team, not Wilson (although a Wilson strip would have been fun)...Cuddy. He respects her decisions even when they're technically his.

Sure it can. This is "House."
I think the reenactment scene on the bus was just part of the hallucination. Why couldn't it be?
It all had to be hallucination/dream-state. No way on earth would they let him go home and sleep during a concussion (or do anything else he was doing during a concussion).
Now, in tv.com's review of this episode, they said this:
"Ballooning the cast to include 3 more team members while the previous team members still milled around in the background seemed like a bad idea.
I was wrong; it was all leading to this."
Leading to what? What was the significance of all the cast members being together?

I loved House's reaction to it being Amber. The quiet, "no." And the "stay with me."
I seriously don't think I can wait a week. I want to know now!!!
Was Amber's Jane Doe description the same one they said at the beginning, because as soon as they described it, I thought it was her, but again, I was spoiled so I was just searching for clues along the way.
Gosh, that was so intense.

I don't know how memory works (mine barely does work) or how tv memory works, for that matter. I know there was an actual physical cause for House's amnesia, but could there have been a psychological one? At this point, I can't say anything happened between House and Amber - not until I see what happens next week, so I don't mean psychological in that way. I mean, could the shock of seeing someone he knew hurt like that have some effect on his memory? I'm thinking of the part where he's reaching out his hand as they're taking her away and the way his hand was shaking after he climbed out of the bus. I figure part of that was probably physical shock, but could it have been another kind of shock as well?
And, did House really forget the names of his team at the beginning, or was he faking that part? Or did he only forget Kutner's name and was faking forgetting Thirteen?

I think the reenactment scene on the bus was just part of the hallucination. Why couldn't it be?
What would be the point?
It seems to me that one of the major themes we've seen with House, is how much he's willing to put his physical self at risk in order to solve the puzzle (97 Seconds, Distraction, etc.) He did that several times during this episode. Making it all hallucination would negate those risks, IMO.

That bus scene was insane! It was really affecting.
So, do we think House still noticed something wrong with Amber? Or was he just trying to remember it was her?
My VCR didn't record: did he ask The Answer if he slept with Amber? Or did I make that up?
Too many questions!
