Namaste- 05-05-2008

I love Amber. "Have you met me? I can take care of myself. You need to take care of you." Finally, someone looking out for Wilson. And the waterbed issue? Love it.

Taiga- 05-05-2008

Okay, please tell me that they didn't establish that Chase and Cameron are not only heading departments, but heading departments they don't have any training or experience in. Please.

Hmmm, interesting. It was nice to see more of the Wilson/Amber relationship being fleshed out. And Amber actually seemed sweet tonight and like she was really encouraging Wilson to stand up for himself. That was cool. It didn't really seem like Wilson and Amber had a fight as the episode description stated. Nice meta with House holding the Emmy.

I love Amber so much right now. She really does love Wilson

I have to say that tonight really made me love Amber - and it was mostly that line Namaste. ETA - Also, I actually enjoyed having Cameron back, if only to snark back at House.

Amber/Wilson stuff was great but the rest of the ep was really boring. I normally like Cuddy, but she grated in this ep and don't get me started on Cameron. 13 quip about the nurse was cute, but she's so blah the rest of the time. At least I can say I like one girl on this show. Too bad it will never last.

LightMyCandle- 05-05-2008

Total WORD Namaste. Amber's officially back in my good graces. And that scene (you know before they started arguing) was surprisingly hot. Great relief after the awkward kisses of the last couple of episodes. Anyway, I'm so glad someone finally recognizes that Wilson needs to take care of himself.

Nice meta with House holding the Emmy. Yeah, that was cool. It reminded me of Denny Crane(The Shat) saying in Boston Legal : I can act, I have an Emmy. The non Wilson/Amber/House stuff was kinda boring.

Chipmunk_love- 05-05-2008

That was the fight?! That's it? Blahh. I'm so happy we finally had W/A solo scenes, but if I ever see them make out again I will kill someone. Overall, I liked this episode -- lots of Huddy goodness! I especially loved the "sweet sauce" scene and their scene at the end. The "what are you wearing" was perfect, as well as House saying "Goodnight, Cuddy." It's crucial that he used her name, I tell you! Way to go, House, for calling that Cameron wants to be back, as well as way to go Cam for calling the 13 connection. TPTB obviously do listen to us. Interesting that House solved the case without solving the case, and even more interesting that he wants people to stop him. Best Taub line tonight - "Meaning doesn't mean that much." I guess that basically sums up all of S3. Favorite Foreman line - "People don't wake up from comas just because you give them drugs." Helllloooo! Did you not see SoaCG? Oh, and House with the Emmy. One day, baby, one day! Cannot wait for next week.

DrSpaceman- 05-05-2008

I'm still bowled over that Wilson had an actual sexy scene, and RSL didn't look completely awkward.

NightOwl- 05-05-2008

This episode was far more serious and had far more depth than I had anticipated. I now feel like this whole season has been very meta, especially with the references to acting and tv shows in this episode. House made a comment to the effect that he couldn't think of any tv shows which portray real life in an accurate way. (I love this, because it's a nice response to the fans who keep complaining that the show is too "unrealistic." What tv show is realistic? Suspend disbelief! It's art!) The hot lead actor of a successful (though cheesy) show is unhappy and feels unfulfilled, feels like he's not doing anything meaningful. (We had the nurses' strike last episode. The process of hiring a new team in the first 12 episodes. Etc.) It was nice to see Wilson and Amber actually making out. Upon first viewing, they were kind of hot together. Who knew. I think I need to watch this again before I can comment further.

please tell me that they didn't establish that Chase and Cameron are not only heading departments, but heading departments they don't have any training or experience in. I reallly, really, really wish I could. Speaking of Cam...actually, the less I say about her, the better. She bugged, I'll leave it at that. 13 didn't do much, but the nurse line was good. I like her hair pulled completely up like that. Cuddy wasn't herself tonight. She's been a doormat for a while now, but she just didn't seem to have any spark or spunk at all tonight. Overall, not as bad as I was expectinng it to be.

cindylouwho- 05-05-2008

Okay, please tell me that they didn't establish that Chase and Cameron are not only heading departments, but heading departments they don't have any training or experience in. Please. It seems that they did. Although I love how if that was a department head meeting, there was no House or Wilson. I still have to disagree with the <3 for Amber. I can't put my finger on what it is (apart from the fact she isn't House, House) but there is just something that isn't right about her. I know I am super biased in this, and probably if I wasn't shipping H/W I wouldn't think twice about her and Wilson being together. For some reason it just seems too cute and contrite and doesn't fit. I enjoyed the wit and the metas, and all. "I'm ignoring you because you make me sad." Line of the night.

chickleta- 05-05-2008

please tell me that they didn't establish that Chase and Cameron are not only heading departments, but heading departments they don't have any training or experience in. That confuses me. If they are implying that they head departments (which I agree, they seem to be doing), then why was it okay for Cameron to spend the entire episode with House? Shouldn't she have been making sure her own department was inspection-worthy? Overall, I thought it was a pretty boring episode. I want to like Amber, but I just can't. She grates. I did like the "have you met me?" line, perhaps mostly because I've said it myself.
