4.13 No More Mr. Nice Guy

Best point for me: House knew Wilson would tell Amber. Amber is the one who betrayed Wilson and House knew that too, he showed Wilson just how CT CTB really is. Thank you for giving me a better way of looking at it. I was so mad at Wilson for (pretty much immediately) telling Amber about the syphillis, I'll just go with your interpretation because I don't like being mad at my Wilson. Yeah LMC it broke my heart for a minute too but when CTB came roaring in I realizied what House had done. I now also think Wilson was testing Amber too. At the end Wilson looked a little disappointed in both of them at first. I think the smile was becasue they were both getting what they deserved, House for testing Wilson and Amber for failing to keep the secret, but I'm not sure he's really happy right now. ETA, On a shallow note, Amber's skirts are way to short Thanks Trixi, I thought it was just me. Is she a doctor or a go-go dancer. I think she's hyper-sexualizing, becasue she's starting think it's all she's got with Wilson.

A long time ago Wilson's character was described by House, I think, as not being as nice as he portrays. Tonight, that was apparent. He either betrayed House's confidence (which House may or may not have expected him to do), or it was browbeaten out of him by Amber. He enjoys watching his two most important people bickering over him and will not state any preferences. I am enjoying the development of his character, and especially that he's stopped being a preacher!

At the end Wilson looked a little disappointed in both of them at first. I think the smile was becasue they were both getting what they deserved,(House for testing Wilson and Amber for failing to keep the secret) but I'm not sure he's really happy right now You know, at first (at the last shot of him) he didn't look happy and I thought that was the case but then he smiled like he was proud of himself, now I'm not sure which it is. I was cool with Amber before and even the beginning of this ep. but she was starting to get seriously b*tchy towards the end, hence the nickname, I know but still. They can't hang out during work hours? Come on, chick. Back off a little.

I don't think Half Wit would tip the old team off much, because the point of that was House didn't have syphilis, Mr. Luke N. Laura did. Cameron made it more personal by talking about sleeping with him (or not). So I thought House's response about using a condom and not having syphilis was a shot of reality in the conversation about the fake patient. There was something about the tone in his voice when he answered her that I took to mean he was actually talking about himself for a moment and not just the faked paperwork/patient.

I was cool with Amber before and even the beginning of this ep. but she was starting to get seriously b*tchy towards the end, hence the nickname, I know but still. They can't hang out during work hours? Come on, chick. Back off a little. Yes! She has completely reverted, "You changed." "I hope so." Fat chance. She's nastier than ever, she doesn't seem like she respects or loves Wilson at all. Doesn't even like him much. She wants to own him, screw him on demand and have another competition with House that this time she can win. SHE MUST GO!

Okay, more thoughts now that I've officially finished flailing. First, the first person POV of the camera at the very beginning was different. I'm wondering what the significance was. Second, kudos to TPTB for not making us wait through commercials to get started with the story. I wonder if this is going to become a habit. Third, fun Huddy goodness w/o Cuddy even being in the room - "I'm also doing my taxes...and Cuddy." Yes!! We shall have our day! Fourthly, I wanted to add that I hate my roommate's friends who don't get the concept of shutting up during the show, regardless of whether they plan on staying, so I missed a small speech by Taub somewhere between the play date scene and the Wilson getting drunk scene. I think it was when Foreman was trying to do reviews. Since it's Taub, it probably wasn't that deep, but still, I'd like to know. Taub has his bad ass moments from time to time.

I think this follows the wives pattern, they decide they want to have a sexual relationship with him and he goes with it and doesn't disappoint, but I still have to wonder if he's taking advantage or being taken advantage of. He knew drinking would affect him and he kept drinking, blame House but you're a grown-up. Also didn't look to happy when Amber was in his office apparently giving him what for for not giving her what for. It doesn't seem like it's quite working for him. But he's probably tired of being alone so he goes with it.

I do not think that Cameron and House have ever slept together. Surely we would have seen the fallout from that. Yes, Chase should not have brought it up in front of everyone, as it was none of anyone else's business. But I think Cameron was using that as an excuse to not really answer so that she could put the idea in everyone's mind that maybe they did sleep together.

I remember her wearing super short skirts when she was one of the wannabe ducks, I don't think the short skirts are anything new. I think she only wore one. She does have great legs but damn she's like Cuddy's little sister in inappropriate dress.
