That and the massive amounts of casual!Wilson and drunk!Wilson.
I pretty much fell in love with RSL all over again whilst watching this episode -especially during the bar scene.
I don't even remember what exactly happened in that first scene with H/W/A. He was sitting at that kitchen table, reading a paper, looking so freaking hot, my mind completely derailed and I turned into a drooling fangirl.

Where are the continuity police? Did the writer's forget about Half Wit? We've been through "House has syphilis" before and House made it clear that he didn't have syphilis
Yep and I would think David Shore who co-wrote this episode (with David Hoselton - LitS and Airborne) would have remembered that :)

Kudos to whoever in the Spoiler thread called Cuddy being appointed referee. Interesting that Wilson who knew how little she thought of Amber choose her.
It was me! :D Oh, snap, I couldn't fucking believe it. They're reading my mind. Or I'm reading theirs.

Amber likes to boast on their sex life to House and yet Wilson mentions her needing Lube?
Back door?
Just slap me.

Dammit, when the whole team came in and told House he had syphilis, he looked like he was going to cry. I love how he just manipulated the hell out of them (and me).

Re: I have to go to work, but here are a few impressions... The "Did you sleep with House?" thing did not ring true for me. It seems like the writers are just going for a cheap way to make tension for Chameron.
I guess it's the cheapest and easiest way to break them up. They've been together for a year already, plus the FWB era, so the better part of a year and a half. If they break up, it *has* to be over House, right? But it's just stupid to have Chase jealous over the idea of Cameron sleeping with House when she said to House right in front of him that she'd never slept with him and House confirmed it with "We would have used a condom." So, unless Chase thinks Cameron cheated on him since last May or slept with House sometime between the FWB and their real relationship, it just doesn't make sense AT ALL. Does he think she would have slept with House, then gone after him for a real relationship and resigned?
I guess it's like someone joked--what Chase and Cameron are doing OFF SCREEN is really amazing. One adventure right after another. Ham happened off screen. And Chase slayed a dragon.

I forget. When did we find out House doesn't have syphilis? Although, I knew he was lying as well this time. But, if I didn't know, I'd be convinced it was true. House is a good liar.
The patients are secondary to me. If I have interesting House stuff, an interesting patient is just icing on the cake, and an uninteresting patient is just something I ignore. So, I ignored the patient, and he doesn't factor one bit into my assessment of the episode. Which is good. Not great, but some nice moments.
I continue to love Amber (I don't know how long I'm going to call her that. CTB is so much better). I love her and House playing off each other. It's fun. And, they should definitely keep Wilson making comical remarks and being amused because he doesn't make me want to slap him like this. The guy can actually be funny, instead of horribly annoying. Also interesting that Wilson enjoys House's deviousness as much as House does.
Enjoyed the House and Chase scene. But, I think they play well off each other.
The biggest surprise for me was that House and CTB both got punished for violating the custody agreement. Somehow I wasn't expecting that.

I liked Chase and Cameron. It sounds like Cameron might be a bit clingy if Chase doesn't want to see her every day.
Huh, it kind of seemed the other way around, Chase was extremely paranoid about Cameron sleeping with House. I don't get the point of her not answering him though. I guess maybe she's tired of being reminded about her feelings for House and it always being assumed that everything she does is to impress him or get into his pants.
I was sad when House couldn’t talk to Wilson.
Nice though when he basically told him that nothing has changed between them and Wilson is okay with it.
Word. I was so irritated when Amber was in Wilson's office during the "I need to talk to you" scene. The dejected way House left broke my heart. I love that they ditched work in the middle of the day (not that Wilson actually does any) to go bowling.
This episode was really packed, I was wondering how they were going to resolve all of it by the end. They didn't really resolve the C/C thing, maybe they're setting up a break up?

I was hoping the episode title would mean that Wilson would grow a spine and stand up to his two girlfriends. I'm sad to be wrong.
I'm also disappointed in the medical case, which I find the most interesting part of the show. It's like they don't even care about that anymore.

Who could blame her? Well, she should have left PPTH then.

Wilson looked like he was getting exactly what he wanted...

Yup, Wilson is completely enjoying this tug of war. I don't think there's any lack of spinelessness on display. We're getting a look at the Wilson who's just as manipulative as House, but in a more passive aggressive way. He's getting something from this. It's interesting trying to figure out who is trying to get what. Among the three of them, House is the easiest to figure out.

I have a sneaking suspicion that he kinda enjoys having the two of them fighting over him.

Unfortunately (for me), that episode managed to scoop me on a fic I'm writing. Seriously, I had the prompt "House suddenly becomes nice..." so I went with him pretending to have syphilis. Time to re-write...
Perspi beat you to it by about 2 years with Experimentation
I'd mention it in the fanfic thread but it would be a spoiler for people who haven't seen the episode but who have read the fic. I wish we'd gotten to see him do the "nice" for a bit longer. The team wasn't really freaking out by the time Amber ruined it.
LightMyCandle- 04-28-2008
Best point for me:
House knew Wilson would tell Amber. Amber is the one who betrayed Wilson and House knew that too, he showed Wilson just how CT CTB really is.
Thank you for giving me a better way of looking at it. I was so mad at Wilson for (pretty much immediately) telling Amber about the syphillis, I'll just go with your interpretation because I don't like being mad at my Wilson.
Speaking of which, how hot was he sitting at the table, reading a newspapar? I just...that was so incredibly hot.
Oddly, I don't want C/C to break up and it's got nothing to do with HAM, they've just really grown on me as a couple, even though seeing them onscreen together is very rare.

House borrows money to -*test*-('") the bounds of their friendship. Does Wilson date a bitch to accomplish the same?
