After really disliking Amber for most of the seaon, this episode redeemed her tremendously for me. I now like the fact that she has been CTB, but now we have seen a more human side to her. Perhaps it is also her association with Wilson that adds to that redemption. The other thing that I think is exciting about all this, is that although I hated it at the time, the writers have set up the characters in a very different light to what they were seasons 1-3 by introducing "The Numbers" and then narrowing that field down to this new three. This final episode rounded off what they were trying to do. Now Chase, Cameron and Foreman are more like colleagues that House calls on for advice, rather than his ducklings. House now has new ducklings, and that adds more variety too and Wisln now has a relationship with a new established character. I think that this season has been a transition season for the characters. Having said that though, I certainly hope we see more of Chase. I liked his few small moments with House in this episode. I want to see more than ever now.

Snow day here so I just rewatched this episode. I forgot how much I really really enjoyed it. Everything about it. I even enjoyed 13 (not that I hate her I just rememebered that I actually never minded her in season 4- whereas season 5 - well it's been discussed to death). so many House and Wilson scenes. Good stuff. And if I may, Hugh Laurie was so so hot in this episode. So many shallow moments for me; especially when talking to Amber in the DDX room and telling her she's changed. Gah. So cute.
