Ummmmm. Breast cancer of the knee?
I did love the singing. But I'm going to have to think a lot about the rest.
By not telling the daughter that she was adopted, what is the daughter also decides to get her breasts removed??

Yay! Finally an episode that feels like House again.
And no less than three House-is-pagan comments this time. Which I totally don't believe, but counting them does make me gleeful. Heh.
The new iPod also made me gleeful, but only until it was revealed as Wilson's. House needs one too! His clickwheel has surely died by now.

What happened next? Well in Princeton they say, that House's heart grew three sizes that day.
Seriously, I'm not sure what to think except, definately better than MLC. I still adore Kutner. I was kind of cringing when House was taking all the Christmas decorations down.
Chase and Cameron are definately still together, good to have more solid conformation on that. And Chase had more screentime than Cameron so I'm putting it in the win category.
Cuddy was almost nonexistent.
Did Wilson seem a little...annoyed or is it just me? Except of course for the end (YAY FOR THE REINDEER HAT) because I think he was a little buzzed. But either way, he looked too cute wearing that hat.
I loved the patient's daughter. I don't think I've ever liked a family member of a patient better. She was awesome.

Squirting breast milk? Ew. And poor Wilson, wrong again: "It's not cancer" Argh.
Good to see Chase. And Cameron didn't speak, so that was a plus.
The donkey show chick was mad creepy but IIRC, she played the bunny boiling nanny on Nip/Tuck, right? She always looks a bit batshit insane, doesn't she?
Lotsa Wilson and I love his reindeer hat.
The scene with the church - did anyone notice the supposed CGI of House in there, because I certainly missed it.
It was heartening to see the Old Ducklings in the promo bits before next week's previews.

I was more interested in the kid than the PotW. I'm really not enamored of 13's know-it-all-ness. And what was Foreman there for? Kutner was cute though, & OMG, Chase speaks...
extra_cat- 01-29-2008
I'm not seeing anything "fresh" about these characters. They're not even reacting to House like new employees. It's like they all were given The Idiot's Guide to House's Personality before they signed up. There was absolutely *nothing* in the characters or their interactions that wasn't a carbon copy of how the others acted. 13 is like a season three (more jaded than season one) Cameron. Kutner is like a season one Chase (suck up). And now we have not one, but two Foremans.
Love the 18 seconds of Chase and the fact that Cameron didn't even get to speak. Way to keep those "they'll be back!" promises, Katie Jacobs and David Shore.

But either way, he looked too cute wearing that hat.
He also looked really young wearing that hat.

The donkey show chick was mad creepy
She was - apart from Chase continuing to enjoy annoying Foreman she was the most memorable thing in the ep. Yeah for clinic patients!

He also looked really young wearing that hat.
He sure did! And buzzed. Adorable.
Re: Donkey Show Chick - at the end when it's a church setting, she still looked deranged when she was smiling at House. ::shudder::
LightMyCandle- 01-29-2008
Oh yeah, that was a great twist with Clinic girl. I can't believe we weren't bombarded with "Ooh, House meets a girl in the clinic, could it be love?" spoilers.
He also looked really young wearing that hat.
Indeed, he did. *dives into the shallow end*

For me the most memorable part was the 'moose on a Jew' quote
Namaste- 01-29-2008
I loved it, and don't pretend to understand the medicine of any episode until I have time to process or hear from others, but still ...
House astounded by pure honesty, patients that still lie, despite every sign that they don't, the fellows teaming up against House by refusing to be mad at Kutner (who gave him the second edition Doyle? Taub? I'll have to do a re-watch to see who had the right sized gift).
I laughed at loud at the Cuddy bondage line, and at the look on Kutner's face when he realized he'd been caught giving House a gift, and at Chase's happiness at Foreman's unhappiness, and at Wilson's response to House's question about why they were walking: "Because it hurts you."
And hey, reconfirmation that Wilson's Jewish.
While I'm sure there will be complaints about the atheist House going to a Christmas pageant, I love the image of him going there solely to check out a prostitute as the Virgin Mary. What was it he said when he called for the first scan for breast tissue? "Scan for irony." Guess he found some in two places.

"It's a moose on a Jew."
I should start taking notes while watching the episode. There were a lot of things I wanted to say, but now -POOF!- they're gone.
I was very happy that we had a Clinic patient! I miss them. I loved the scene with Taub and Foreman questioning that guy.
But during opening scene of the episode I thought, "Oh for the love of God! Shut up about the damn game!"

I totally think Wilson was buzzed when he wore that hat. Loved that scene. I liked the kid a lot. Yay for Clinic Patient Time! And I thought the end was awesome, as Namaste said, the irony was great. Kutner cracks me up. I'm somewhat annoyed that 13 thinks she's an expert on House. Eh. But I loved the rest. It felt like old times to me. :)
