4.09 Games Warning: Episode summary contains spoilers!from buddytv:
“Games,” which is scheduled to air November 27, finds House assigning the fellowship contenders to an especially difficult case involving an uncooperative, passé, ex-rock star with a history of substance abuse and civil disobedience. Meanwhile, Cuddy admonishes House to make up his mind and determine the final members of his diagnostic group.

Hey, they recycled the measles-in-his-brain thing from S1. Why hadn't he been vaccinated again?
And come on, a department of only four doctors and they're going to get in trouble with women's groups for not hiring a woman? Give me a freakin' break! In high-powered scientific circles that's not strange at all!
I didn't believe people when they said Thirteen was a Cameron clone aside from the looks, but she is. Dammit.

Wow... I totally fell for House's trick. I am an IDIOT. I thought he really fired Thirteen!
What did the patient end up having? I missed that somehow.

I fell for it too. I'm just so glad my boy Kutner's staying :P
I'm so very, very relieved right now but I have a feeling I'll feel more let down in the morning.

I absofreakinglutely hate Thirteen. Cuddy isn't on my like list right now as well.
I'm not entirely sure what the point of Wilson's storyline was, except for once again showing that he's a shitty doctor. Getting old.
I'm happy Taub and Kutner are staying, but Amber would have been a much better choice.
Am not happy that there still hasn't been a House/Wilson closing scene this season.
Big Booo on no more House this year.

*sniff* Goodbye CTB (I prefer her nickname to Amber). I'll miss you the most of all.
I believe the patient had measles.

Ugh. I finally thought we got rid of 13.
She really is Cameron Part Deux: Electric Boogaloo
Damn it. I'm sorry, I just don't think she brings anything new to the table.
And this is it until January? Bah humbug. :-(
Also, Wilson's back on the lecture train. Oh joy,
C'mon show runners, what's the problem? I refuse to believe you've run out of good ideas.
Oh well, at least we had a bit more Chase this week.

At least there was a good amount of Wilson! :)

I don't think that was the point. I thought it was there to show how responsible he feels for everyone, which we already know, but maybe in case we didn't already. I loved the last House/Wilson scene. I didn't know whether to be relieved or ticked that House was the "lawyer."

I knew it was too good to be true when he fired 13. Dam. Dam. Dam.

i didnt get the whole "he has a medical degree", not a lawyer's
SaphronGirl- 11-27-2007
I can't believe House and Wilson didn't make up after their little row (that Kutner seemed terrified to interrupt, BTW).

I'm not sure what the point is either except that it ties into earlier episodes and in my twisted mind is pointing in an ominous direction. About Wilson being a shitty doctor, that was my first thought too until I remembered that House misdiagnoses a patient and gives the wrong treatment and prognosis several times an episode; he's even told someone that they're going to die and then turned around and admitted he was wrong before. Both Wilson and House reacted as if this is rare for Wilson, if not the first time ever.

They could have made one of his staff members make the misdiagnoses, but no, it had to be Wilson himself. That's what I didn't like and feared from the moment I read that in the synopsis.
