I am in deep psychic pain. I actually think I'm getting a migraine from all the het! of this episode. The "blew the janitor" line WAS NOT EVEN SLASHY.
HOW THE **** DO YOU KEEP THAT LINE FROM BEING SLASHY, I DON'T KNOW! But they did! They somehow made it no big deal. WHAT THE HECK. I am in so much turmoil. The show is having an effing identity crisis and my brain is suffering.
Well House did say he would have to offer an apology. That could definately be slashy. I took at as being as "slashy" as I could, since he was w/ Wilson. He could have been w/ 13 when he said it or worse, MM.

Really enjoyed the episode. I cringed all over again at the bra comment, but it was all up from there. This episode seemed to have something for everyone, humor, pathos, more of the old kids, plenty of the new, House/Cuddy, House/Wilson, lots on the medical side, lots on the personal side, House interested in the case, House diagnosing, fodder for the ships, continuity from previous episodes. There was so much packed in that I can't even remember all the good bits. I suppose some will be upset that 13 turned out to be right, but it was OK with me.
This one definitely needs to be watched again.

Oh, and Taub? Just soyouknow, infidelity is Wilson's thing, so get your own problem.

The House/Cuddy and House/Wilson scenes were really sweet. I loved House and Cuddy watching the end cut.
Next week: Distractions, v. 2.0?

Oh c'mon! Not slashy?
The line about Foreman being gay had me chuckling.
And Wilson wonders if Foreman got stupid around Chase. Wilson thinks Chase is pretty! There. Feel better now?
Sigh. Some people are *never* happy. ;-)

Chase was freaking adorable tonight. He actually did something medically productive, I must be dreaming.
Cuddy finally acting like the Cuddy I love. Good to have you back girl.
Wilson was fantastic, as usual. The Wiccan thing was great. Oh and the "fav five" line brought a smile to my face that only those two can bring.
I was bummed that Kutner didn't get another chance to "blow somebody up" but I just love him more and more with each new episode.
Oh and I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. I knew that Cameron didn't miss the "intensity and excitement" of her job. She missed the intesity and excitement of House. Gosh, the woman is incapable of growth. Could she have been anymore like a schoolgirl talking to the mirror?
SaphronGirl- 11-13-2007
And... there could be the subtle inference that House hired Chase because he was pretty.
Oh, and the "I guess I owe him an apology" line was definitely the ghey.

My two favorite lines: "Walking gives the illusion of the story moving forward," and Wilson's line about Thirteen, "Pretty girl kill again?" (Which BTW I vote should be Thirteen's thread title should the time come).
Wilson was all around awesome this episode. Even his Requisite Lecture was actually spot on and good advice (which once again House took!)
Anyone else think the line in the documentary about House being a "film buff who loves children" was also information fed to the filmmakers by Wilson? You know, in addition to House propositing men in bathrooms and being a Wiccan.

Could she have been anymore like a schoolgirl talking to the mirror?
And poor Chase having to sit there and listen to it and be supportive.
I think he's going to dump her. It's just a matter of time. He seems like he's finding his stride. Why would he want to stay with someone who obviously is into someone else?

I think the film buff thing came from House saying he became a doctor because of Patch Adams.

I certainly agree. Lots for everyone. :)
And, you know, as much as I adore House/Wilson, and as much as I enjoy the slashy subtexts, I also liked seeing them like this. Rewinding footage to catch shots of see-through clothing. Wilson's attitude was especially amusing; he seemed absolutely tickled with House's situation.
I also enjoyed getting some Taub character development. Good stuff.
Again, I was thrilled with this episode, especially after last week's, which didn't do much for me.

I agree, I think he's going to do the dumping, she seems to be too firmly set in denial and he seems to be getting sick of it, IMO. I think he'll do fine without her.
