4.05 Mirror Mirror HOUSE AND THE FELLOWSHIP CANDIDATES TREAT A PATIENT WITH AN UNKNOWN IDENTITY WHO MIRRORS THE BEHAVIOR OF THE PEOPLE AROUND HIM ON “HOUSE” TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30, ON FOX
The team takes on the case of a man who collapsed while being mugged. When the man complains of new symptoms that do not fit his initial admission profile, the team suspects he is a hypochondriac. As Mr. X continues to fall ill with symptoms unrelated to his neurological disorder, Foreman and the remaining six fellows are assigned to keep watch, and are bemused as they see their own behavioral idiosyncrasies reflected through him. As they attempt to diagnose this human chameleon, they seem to learn more about themselves than their patient, whose true identity is a mystery. Meanwhile, Cameron and Chase keep a running pool on whom House might cut next from the team of candidates, and Foreman engages in a power struggle with House and Cuddy in the “Mirror Mirror” episode of HOUSE airing Tuesday, Oct. 30 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. OMG! Pass the barf bag. I'm gagging on the overload of Foreman. I didn't even mind the newbies who I LOATHE,. but Foreman? HATE HATE HATE! He freaking belongs with House? ::Pukes::
He can't do the job. He's an arrogant piece of crap! Omar ain't selling it and I'm sick to death of him on my screen and sick that House is acting like he needs Foreman or WTF ever. I can't believe how much I once loved this show and how what I saw tonight was so far removed I'm stunned they haven't renamed it the HOUSE AND FOREMAN HOUR!
The ten seconds of Chase were lovely. Every minute of Foreman sucked donkey balls.

It's official, I like Kutner.
House has power over Cuddy. That's actually kind of disappointing to me. But what is this stuff about her getting pregnant?
Foreman is... Foreman. Are they really going to have him be House's equal? Is this going to be the House and Foreman show?
I liked this way of showing insights into the characters.

So many thoughts, many, many thoughts. Overall, I very much enjoyed this episode at least more than that crapfest last week.
First, Wilson is more powerful than House AND Cuddy. My boy's in charge.

Another disappointing episode. As bitter as I am that Foreman was back to his normal screentime while Chase and Cameron are not, this episode was still better than the rest of the season.
I'm really disappointed that we had to have Foreman figure out the betting thing. Would it have killed them to let us have a House/Chase scene?
I guess so.
Boring--again--but better. Too bad they didn't axe some Numbers though. I don't care about them any more now that we've gotten some skewed mirror image of them than I did before.

Too bad the insights weren't about the characters I cared about. It was a neat idea I would have loved to have seen with Chase, hell...even with Cameron to understand who SHE really is.
Oh..I did like Wilson too.

But what is this stuff about her getting pregnant?
I hope that was just a joke meant to imply that they are having sex.
Frank Whalley Jr. did an excellent job!
LightMyCandle- 10-30-2007
Kutner is officially my favorite. Which btw, House telling him he's insane for electrocuting himself? House, is your memory going?
"I've always thought my breasts were one of my best features."
Cuddy, I believe you.

Bugger. I missed the bulk of the episode and now I've got to be all "be kind, rewind"
So obviously, I can't comment fully now. The last scene with House and Foreman seemed kinda nice, but then again, I haven't had Foreman overload from the episode. ;-)
I was a bit shaken by the Cuddy getting pregnant comment too!

On the whole, the ep was entertaining, but still pretty lightweight. I'm beginning to lose interest in the Survivor stuff because its only as good as the players, and the original cast is way better than the current one. Why oh why couldn't they get Cameron and Chase some time with the POTW? Would have been a heck of a lot more interesting than some of the stuff we got about the still incredibly bland numbers.
That said, clearly Chase is getting along better with House than we were led to believe in the last couple of eps. I knew my boy was a pragmatist (and on a more personal note, I'm personally kvelling about the whole betting thing in I put in Playing For Position so long ago--Chase clearly has a future as a bookie). Now if only they could put him on screen for more than 10 seconds.

Well, I thought it was funny, and thank goodness that subplot with the pills was a small one.
But, I don't like the idea that CTB cares at all about being liked and has to be right because she's not liked.
I've always liked Frank Whaley, so it was fun to see him.
Didn't House say something about switching Cuddy's birth control pills? I thought the pregnancy comment was him saying if the battle went on, he'd replace her pills because she wouldn't be able to tell. So, if she had sex with anyone, her chances of getting pregnant would increase because she wouldn't be on birth control.

It was a neat idea I would have loved to have seen with Chase, hell...even with Cameron to understand who SHE really is.
We've had three full seasons of character development with them, having the patient mirror them wouldn't have told us anything we didn't already know.
Is there going to be a reason for Chase and Cameron continuing to be on this show? Because as it is, they may as well just leave.

No kidding. He had a scene with EVERYBODY except Chase and Cameron. WTF? Did Jesse and Jennifer piss off TPTB? Is that why their characters have been reduced to nothing?

That's how I interpreted the pregnancy comment. Was I the only one disappointed by House's apparent "dominance" over Cuddy?

Better than last week. Still so off from the way it was. Way tooooo much Foreman. Way tooooo little Chase. Loved Wilson.
And all I stayed fixed on was the line about replacing Cuddy's birth control pills and the implication I wasn't sure was a joke or not that there is off screen Huddy going on.
