THE SEVEN FINAL CANDIDATES TREAT A PATIENT WHO BELIEVES SHE CAN TALK TO THE DEAD ON "HOUSE"
When a 20-year-old funeral home cosmetician, Irene, has a massive seizure, she hallucinates that the cadavers in the funeral home have come to life, House and the remaining seven fellowship candidates must figure out why. As the team runs tests, they realize Irene is carrying on conversations with her long-deceased mother, who she believes is sitting in the room with her. Thinking something in the funeral home may have made Irene sick, House sends the candidates on some less-than-desirable investigative missions, one of which involves a visit to a graveyard. As Irene's symptoms become more life-threatening and her ghostly visions more vivid, House surmises that connecting with Irene's dead mother might be the best route to diagnosing her illness. Meanwhile, Foreman finds his "House-like" reputation has preceded him as he interviews for a new job, and House must narrow down the candidates from seven to six in the "Guardian Angels" episode of HOUSE.

Aw, Bosley. Love you, baby. Call me.
LightMyCandle- 10-23-2007
Well, that was okay, I guess. Could've been worse.

**Sob** Scooter was my favorite New Duckling! The rest of them are either annoying, ciphers, or annoying ciphers.

I sure am going to miss ROF. How did Doctor Without Border get to stay over him? Bah. I did get a laugh out of "If you want to hang out..." "I know. Call Wilson."
ETA: Cousin Alexi, I'm with you - he was my favorite!
LightMyCandle- 10-23-2007
Okay, I admit it, ROF finally won me over and then of course, he gets fired.

Boring case. She was tripping on rye bread? Give me a break.
If the new fellows are going to be like this, I couldn't care less if House hires any of them -- and he let my favorite go.
I thought nothing would turn me away from this show, but I'm not sure I'm willing to watch "House & Foreman, MDs"

How cool is this? I didn't even have to watch. According to a friend there was a fair amount of Cameron, way too much Foreman and 20 seconds of Chase in a mask. Saved myself an hour. Did catch the preview for next week. How much do I HATE Foreman and the fact that with all the newbies I HATE it doesn't even look like a preview for the show I once loved. ::Shakes head::
And can 13 die now? Please.

I'm sad Scooter's gone. :( But I liked this episode. I didn't even really mind Cameron's involvement.
extra_cat- 10-23-2007
Four Cameron scenes. Four Foreman scenes. Thirty seconds of Chase. :curse:
Anyone know of any good fan fiction?
zittles- 10-23-2007
I didn't mind 13 before but that scene of "Let her think her mother is dead" (so Cameron gag) and that bit from the promo makes me hate her.

So much word. And....is it true that CTB solved the case? Took a long time before the original ducks were allowed to solve one over House. Sorry, I like CTB but that's just freaking WRONG WRONG WRONG! And the idea of the House and Foreman show makes me more ill than I already feeel.
LightMyCandle- 10-23-2007
Cameron you ignorant slut!!!!! God, could she be any more smug?
Chase, I love you, you should come around more often. I couldn't even see your whole face.
Cuddy, you redeemed yourself at the end.
Foreman, man, you just suck. How do you not see how much you suck?
Wilson scene was great. I really liked it. What exactly was confusing about it?

I thought that scene was very Cameron-like too, not in a good way. More proof that the writers are having a hard time making distinctive female characters.
SPOILERI groaned when I heard that "you're hot" bit from the promo. Heh. SPOILER END
Mod Note: Careful, folks! We have a super strict spoiler policy here and the promos for the next week are part of it. The previews are not broadcast in Canada and some spoiler free folks don't watch them. Please tag 'em.
Thanks,

Not an impressive episode. I liked the flower bit.
I'm sorry to see Dobson go, but I agree with the reason. I hope he and Wilson do hang out. I thought it would be Brennan, he seemed so defeatist.
If the mother died at 25, how come she looked old? And why didn't the patient get better once she wasn't eating moldy bread any more?
Wouldn't the team have been taking more precautions while dealing with what they thought was that brain disease I can't spell?
Oh Foreman, black-balled. I choose to think it's divine punishment for the needle stick. I'm not looking forward to having him back. Even after being fired he came across as arrogant.
Cameron just can't stay away, but it's nice to see someone win a bet with House.
I can't see why even House would want someone on his team who tries to sabotage people. Oh yeah, needle stick.
I was thinking of you, Chasers, when we only had one Chase scene and that with a mask covering his face. Why on earth is he actually a surgeon now... right, forgot which show I'm watching.
Thirteen did come across as way too Cameron-y there with the hint of having lost a loved one. Been there, done that, let her go. She doesn't bring anything new to the show.
