House in a doo-rag is just wrong. ICK!
Yes, but I loved the hair toss he did after he took it off.

I guess I'm the only one that still doesn't really have a problem with 13. *ducks flying fruit*
Oh and if 407 is reading, I now think you were right about the LLB remark last week because this week he mentioned an alcoholic mother. It's like he's going through all the personal issues of the people in his life to see if one fits her.

Loved how they had anne dudeck go and visit cameron and do some ass kissing. It was nice seeing cam's face again (i know, i used to complain about her!).
Loved the whole electrocution thing with House. A great device for drama, and digging deeper into the character.
I still don't know who's staying. Well, I'm pretty sure its Anne Dudeck, Olivia and .. . Kal?
Poeia- 10-09-2007
Actually, I love the Ann Dudek character. She is a female House. I would rather see this than a "new" Cameron.
House in a doo-rag is just wrong. ICK!
I disagree. House puts curing the patient first. He doesn't put getting credit for it above the patient's life.
I do agree about the doo-rag.

One thing though - I kinda felt like it was a possibility that the PotW didn't take the pills on purpose. He said that he was tired of being stuck in that body in pain and he'd rather just let it be over. Maybe he tossed them on the floor when 13 was getting him water and the dog got them. Doggies do tend to snarf whatever they find.
Fiddy, get out of my brain! I kept waiting for them to somehow figure out that the patient intentionally did not take the pills. I really liked the patient, both the actor and the character. It's been awhile since I connected with a patient enough to really care about the outcome. Usually I just want House to solve the puzzle. Tonight I wanted the patient to survive.

I like her too, LMC. And trust me, no one is more surprised by that than me. I do fear, though, that she's heading into Mary Sue territory.
SaphronGirl- 10-09-2007
I'll re-watch it again just for the "I love you" scene.
and watch again, and again, and again, until it's on youtube and then I'll probably break my poor iPod.
Oh god, that scene is going to be total fodder for every H/W fanvid from this point until the end of time...
LightMyCandle- 10-09-2007
I still feel badly about doubting Garrett Lerner, so I'm going to build a shrine to him because he gave me a Wilson reaction and an "I love you." Now I love GL.
jdr1184- 10-09-2007
I didn't mind 13 and I actually thought House was being kind in not having Wilson be the one to deal with death. Wilson was behond hot in this ep. I kept getting so distracted when he was on screen. *runs of to screen cap.
melly- 10-09-2007
I thought it was a pretty blah ep. I adored casual Wilson (RSL should wear jeans all the time) and the "I love you" was priceless, but I am tired of the new guys already.
I never thought I would be begging for Cameron to come back, but I find 13 far more annoying than Cameron. The 15 seconds of House/ Chase rocked, but I had seen that on the promo earlier today and was really hoping for more.

This might be another Cane and Able for me. An episode that I didn't care much about the first time but started liking more and more as I watched it again. But, it might stay the same.
Anyway, I find myself holding the minority opinion on a lot of things in the fandom (or at least in the places of the fandom I visit) so is it any wonder that I like Amber? I found her interesting.
Didn't Wilson mention the other near death experiences? So it wasn't like they didn't reference them so they must have known that people would remember, although I don't know why House thought he needed to try it again.
Interesting that House's reaction to the patient dying became cavalier when Cuddy showed up. I really think it bothered him that the patient died because he was wrong. Just like he was obviously beating himself up when he found out that the game delayed finding out the problem, because he

I don't have a problem with her either. I'm not curious as to what her mystery is, but I like how calmly she just dismisses House's attempts to find out.
And, one of my favorite scenes was between House and Scooter, when he told him he would miss him the most. I don't know if it was a quote from somewhere (sounded vaguely Wizard of Oz-ish, and if it was from Survivor, I've never watched it) but I think he meant it.
hollyhock- 10-09-2007
despite having to overlook about a million improbable events - house ala survivor with torches yet? give me a break! - i lurved this episode. one thing. i so hope they aren't going to keep the brunette who screwed up the meds. is it just me or does anyone else smell a possible attraction and - phooey on that - prospective romance between house and said brunette? say it ain't so! house loves wilson! i don't care if he said it because wilson is his drug connection. house loves wilson! it doesn't take much to keep this girl going.

Casual!Wilson, there is not such thing as too much casual!Wilson. He looks great in jeans.
I'm getting a little more coherent.

I was quite taken with her in this ep, more than I thought I would be.
I really liked the Amber/Cameron scene - Amber played her perfectly, she really did her homework (as she did with Chase) but man, Cameron's hair did not come off looking well (on a completely shallow n ote!).
I was really impressed by the actor playing the PotW, just an amazing performance.
For once the ep didn't feel rushed either the way the last two have. Did anyone catch the director?
RNwannabe- 10-09-2007
I didn't like when Cut-throat Bitch said that House had never hired more than one woman for his team before. Doesn't canon give him only one team to draw on?
fffaw- 10-09-2007
I loved the Chase/Cameron/House scene! I finally agree with Cameron something - I, too, like the new!Chase.
Casual Wilson is always a plus and he looked so gorgeous and he was sitting by House's bedside in casual clothes, which means he was keeping vigil after work. I knew as soon as House woke up, he'd call him an idiot.
And Wilson quoting My Fair Lady? So gay. I love him.
Speaking of, the ILU was admittedly most likely about the drugs, but I'll take it! :-) Wilson probably ran home and wrote about that in his diary. :-)
The doggie was so cute. I thought they were going to kill him off in the first scene and was glad when they didn't. Actually, the writers killed 2 patients, 1 dog and House (for a minute). The only person who survived the carnage was...Foreman's patient. Interesting.
