Thing about the Cameron-type in the ER - a carbon copy so easily found. Blake's telling us Cameron's not that unique. I'd have preferred some more subtle refs to all the kids from the people interacts with rather than one sledge hammer, but the implications that a Cameron copy is standing there right around the corner is interesting. If you've got access to her, why do you need Cameron? Same here. It was actually annoying to get hit over the head with CouldBeCameron. Some more subtle references would have been better.

Maybe we'll find out Wilson's a secret drunk!

radiosweetheart- 09-25-2007

And, yes, Wilson is still in a hotel room. G-d only knows why. The only available apartment in Princeton was owned by my former landlady. He decided hotel time was better than that.

Wouldn't it be nice if the new fellows switched roles a bit The ultra caring one could be a man The naysayer could be a woman The one who always agrees with him could also be the one with a strict moral code. If we're going to get carbon copies, why bother making the change. Word as well. I'd love to see ER!Cam as Newbie!Foreman.

And, yes, Wilson is still in a hotel room. G-d only knows why. Word. He needs to get out of there and moves in with House or something. Oh wait...maybe they keep him there until he finally comes out and then he moves on with his life and moves back in with House....

Oy! You guys are moving too fast for me :D Cuddy’s comment about the ducklings didn’t make sense. The first part of it, when she explained how the three of them worked as a team, made a lot of sense - but then she went on and ruined it (and contradicted what she just said) by saying any ONE of the fellows could have solved the case when clearly it would have been what they collectively brought to the table. I think she meant that any one duckling's idea (for each of the various points she mentions) + House would've solved the case. And I agree with her. The missing Cameron thing was way heavy handed, particularly in light of her major screw up about checking the details of the fireman's love life (or not) in W&D & other stuff like this in the past. We know Cameron might well have missed this kind of a clue... I think Cuddy's point was that Cameron (the hopeless romantic) would've stuck to the true love thing, just like she did in W&D: she was absolutely sure there was a real star-crossed lovers story there, even when there wasn't. So, she probably would've pushed House to consider something besides 'the patient wasn't really in love with the boyfriend'.

Just checked Human Error--Faux!Cameron does indeed appear to be Botox!girl. I knew it! Thanks for checking! That is funny that he asked for her resume twice. It's also weird that he didn't recognize her. I was under the impression that House was generally good with faces.

I really liked CCF being absent for tonight's show. Without them the focus became more on House and Wilson which is always my main point of interest. Am also in agreement with Alex who said that - He seemed to think House should have a team for *House's* own good, not for his patients'. Wilson's point seemed to be that House needs the team in order to have other people around who he's forced to interact with on a regular basis instead of the only people like that being himself and Cuddy. Seems like he is still trying to make House be more like everyone else in that regard. Cuddy's opinion about why House needs a team somehow didn't fly with me. Yes he gets ideas from what his team says but their contributions and ideas are always put together with his own ideas to get to the end result. One of the things that House has always done so well is to combine his own ideas and those of others into a "larger" whole that is often the solution to whatever problem the patient presents with. Without the team the process still works, just takes longer since all of the ideas now come from House alone.

This shit is awesome! They have seriously vamped up the comedy! So much good stuff! Refreshing to have a show with no cottages but I did sort of miss them. I loved this ep! I'm so excited its ridic! I'm at Disneyland! Love the new camera stuff. Glad they're doing different things. Love the House/Wilson shenanigans being taken to a higher level. Glad they're giving us more fun stuff. House in glasses: triple sexy! He's so sexy in this ep I'm dying! Can't wait for next week!

I know it's the wrong thread, but since everyone is in here: Hugh is going to be on FOX 5 News NY in a few minutes.

Oh wait...maybe they keep him there until he finally comes out and then he moves on with his life and moves back in with House.... What I'm ideally hoping is for Wilson's depression to come to a head in a big dramatic way that results in him moving back in with House. Will it happen? Of course not. Can I dream? Yes I can.

Ranee- 09-25-2007

It's also weird that he didn't recognize her. I was under the impression that House was generally good with faces. When he saw her in HE it was at a big distance (from the balcony) & maybe his eyesight is worse than we know? Hence the increasing use of glasses? May I say, I'm really enjoying this thread, its so great everyone is here tonight & that we had such a great episode to start the season :waves at everyone:

I'm really surprised though how much TPTB held back on the HoYay subtext in this ep. And how little flirting there actually was.
