4.01 Alone From TV.com:
With his diagnostic team gone, House tries to diagnose a young woman who survived an office building collapse. With the condition getting worse, Cuddy puts pressure on House to hire a new team, but instead attempts a differential diagnosis with help from janitor.

Wheee, now that was AWESOME!! Wilson is so made of win in this episode. That's all I can come up with right now.

Ah, so much Wilson love. I enjoyed the first ep of the season - some great H/W moments.

Loved it, loved it, loved it! Lots of Wilson, lots of Cuddy. No Cameron, No Foreman. I did miss Chase.
Loved Wilson's guitar torturing noise.

This episode was exactly what House is supposed to be.
Funny and I didn't guess the mystery and there was Wilson and also House was foxy and there was stuff and

See, some times it is lupus! Leon rocks! (wants a $50 and doesnt get it? House, you cheap bastard). And Wilson thinks House is taking him out to lunch - oh, the level of delusion?

I thought it DRAGGED on a bit. Too monotonous. Normally, I'm engrossed. Tonight, not so much.
Granted, it was not worse than One Day One Room, but not an episode I want to rewatch immediately either. I usually do.
I liked the janitor bits.
The guitar thing wasn't as funny as I expected it to be because House didn't have a sense of humor about it.
The ending was sad.
Merlin, if you're reading this, the ONLY mention of CCF was at the end and Cuddy said that Cameron wouldn't have believed the boyfriend knew nothing about the patient and as soon as House suggested multiple conditions Foreman would have done anything to prove him wrong and Chase would do anything to prove him right. They showed two clips of Chase and one each of Foreman and Cameron in the preview.

Sadly, I was spoiled and had unfortunately read super detailed spoilers so I knew the answer to the POTW. That kinda bummed me out - I'm definitely avoiding super detailed spoilers in the future.

More thoughts, I didn't miss the duckies at all. The guitar-napping was made of awesome and the PotW, though I didn't care much for her, had a very sad conclusion.

Wilson FTW, for sure! The guitar torture scene was awesome. House looked as though he was going to positively strangle him. And the scream noise. LOL.
I missed these kinds of episodes. So damn much. Loved the twist with the PotW, too.

Okay, okay, okay. :P :D :P That was great. It kind of lost me in the last ten minutes or so but the rest of it more than made up for it. It did feel claustrophobic and I admit it, House needs a team, BUT I still stand by my previous statements that it doesn't have to be that exact team.
That B&E was soooo wonderful. I don't have the words to describe my love for that scene.
Cuddy had me then she lost me, then she had me again. I was very appraciative of her white, dress thingy. *growl*
Line of the night has to go to Wilson. I'm just not sure which one it is yet. He had so many great ones. I think I love "Oh...my...God!" the most though.
Wilson, get out of my TV and into my bed!! Right now!! How hot was that hoodie and jeans and ruffled hair?
*sighs* that's all I got right now. Can't wait for next week.

WILSON IS MADE OF WIN.

Lots of lovely H/W moments, but I'm a little puzzled by why House is so utterly useless without a team. How the heck did he get to be "World Famous" if he needs fellows to solve the case? The bits with the guitar and janitor were a lot of fun. I was completely surprised by the POTW switch and that the very first ep proves that not everybody lies.

Wilson holding the guitar for ransom was so cute...that should have worked, too. I bet Cuddy is ruing the moment she said, "I don't care how you do it, just hire a team." Probably best not to give House an opening like that....

For once Wilson and Cuddy did it right. That's how you make House do something (and entertain the audience at the same time.) They were great. House was awesome.
Megan was depressed -- it was her diary that House found in her apartment. I guess she wasn't taking treatment for it.
I really liked how House broke the mistaken identities to Mom and the boyfriend. He was uncomfortable and embarrassed about it, but he didn't offer any comfort other than "she didn't lie to you." That was very, very in character.
ETA: House had fellows before Chase/Cameron/Foreman. We knew that in the Pilot and Chase talked about them in All In. I guess it's another case of TPTB rewriting canon.
